Visiting 2007 Ssdt
A quick question for all you with local knowledge of the Highlands. I will be coming up to the SSDT this year but one of my traveling companions cant stay the whole week so is looking to fly home on Thursday so I will be taking them to the airport, Easyjet fly out of Inverness and Glasgow but which woul be the easiest or most reliable airport to use, Inverness is 30 miles closer by my reconing but as I would imagine it is a smaller airport are the flight s more prone to being cancelled. Any previous experiances welcome.

Slow Computer
Ive been having a few PC problems of late with slow running and been recieving alot of spam also getting message failed e-mails from people I havnt E-mailed, they are coming back to me with the correct domain but have things like XYZ in front of them. I have been informed by people that its called spoof mail. Ive downloaded all the above and run them in each user on my PC. Can any-one else give any more advice or possibly a web-site that would explain all this adware spyware jargon. Are all the above programs just removal tools or now I have downloaded them should they block any furthur attacks. Its all very confusing to a computer novice.

Help----sheffield 'knowledge' Required
Not too sure how well the tickets sold as they have still been advertised up untill just before christmas and thought it is usally sold out well in advance, shame if there isn't a good turnout therefore not making it viable if they don't get a world championship round in future.

Skid your a genius and you didn't know it. You have found the venue for the British round of the 2007 world championship, the venue in your picture meets all the requirments plenty of parking, services on site, Mrs Smith at no 3's front room as a Jury and press room, and finally a heap of dirt for sections. Whats the chances of the local Council allowing it you reckon.

Mike Hann Special 200 Professional
As Nigel says Mike Hann comes from Dorset, many years ago was a Fantic agent. Mike still is a regular face around the South West centre on modern and pre-65 machinery and is chairman of Yeo-Vale MCC and a thoroughly nice guy whom nothing is too much trouble im sure he would be only too pleased to give you any advice. I'll PM you his details.

Long Time No See
- Scott
Having never been to watch the Scott but hoping to one day, what do the top riders do when they ride a section do they wait for the section to be empty before riding it to ensure the correct observation score is given to them or do they just race thru it as soon as they get there, if so how many of there marks are lost because people get in there way or are the majority of marks lost genuine losses.- Scott Trial Results News?
Thats all part of the game im afraid gota play all the 18 holes in golf to win.- Night Practice
Yes your right there are actually three a year run by the MCC. The first is run in the first week in January in the South Devon area(The Exeter Trial), the second on Good friday into Easter Saturday and runs around the North Devon and Cornwall area (The Lands End) and the third the first weekend in October in the Derbyshire area(The Edinburgh Trial). The events are based around trail bikes including sidecars and cars as they run over 300-400 hundred miles taking in green lanes and putting the rider in the saddle for anything up to 20 hours. They are great events with a great sense of camaraderie between the competitors.- Past Masters Trial At Hawkstone
That Amos can still ride a bit can't he. Bet a few of the Honda men cringed when he cartwheeled it of the big step in section eight at his first attempt.- Good To See Some West Country Folks Hawkstone
I think Ivan still rides a bit, the two of them are always about at centre events usally scoring, think they may have been marking a section at the recent West Of England british champ round. There seemed to be quite a few West Countryites make the 200 mile+ journey to Hawkstone this year.- Bad Luck For Caby, And Others!
I hope Adam Raga doesn't read these forums otherwise he will lodge an appeal.- Bad Luck For Caby, And Others!
Or "Nasty Ron" as named by Jack Burnicle at the past masters trial for fiving Amos for riding the harder route.- Hawkstone 2006
Lots of bits an pieces been said on different threads about this years trial whats your overall thoughts about it now the dust has settled. I personally thought it was a great weekend. Mini masters trial very good made all the better by Amos and his antics. Sections on Sunday very good with severity about right (still amazed at what they do even after watching around 10 world rounds) viewing seemed better than last year (not sure why) deserving winner in Fuji seems like a genuine guy. Shame Doug couldnt get his 100th GP win couldnt quite seem to put in that one amazing ride to get the crowd really behind him like last year (it was a hard act to follow).- Micheal Phillipson
Agreed too!!Have to admit when first saw him arrive at section 2 with a red bib I thought he must be mad and going to a make a fool of him-self,I dont mind admiting I was wrong, saw him have some cracking attempts at the sections.I take my hat off to you. - Scott
