  1. The bike of choice for the London Dispatch rider. I see a CX500 wheelie across Chelsea Bridge, the rider missed a gear whilst the front was up and blew the engine big style. The CX was good for one hundred thousand miles and more, its replacement the VT500 was crap and had a cham chain. Gas Gas 350cc with EFI and weighing in less than 70kg. Can they do, or more importantly do they think this is the bike for clubman - bearing in mind the other three manufacturers are all competing for the clubman sales market wouldn't it be nice to think Gas Gas is going for the clubman Expert market with this bike motor?
  2. god help me i've not put down the pictures of the Rev-4 my right forearm is massive (seem to recall reading somewhere the venture capitalists investment was going to pay dividend in 2008)

    Beta Rev 4t In Action

The rev-4 in mud is just too good to beleive. From personal experience and observations all 4-strokes are not much cop in the mud. In principle a 4-stroke should be better than to 2-stroke because the power is delivered on the forth stroke thereby the rear wheel is less likely to spin. The 2-stroke on the other hand burns through the mud (thats what i try and do) but i've never seen a modern 4-stroke master mud like the rev-4. Can any explain why the rev-4 rides so well in the mud ,is this some kind of wonder bike!! i'm really beginning to beleive the 4 years of engine development blar, blar money spent on the gear box, but surely the 4rt can't be wrong in design? i'm not claiming to have any knowledge but the video is speaking a thousand words. If the rev-4 and video are honest and Steve rode both bike fair and square i say what we are all looking at is a big jump forward in motorcycle development - but its a 4-stroke its all wrong!!!!

    Beta Rev 4t In Action

a good firm grip and a crowbar to open it. the comparison ride between the 4rt and Rev4 is alarming!! Steve must have deliberaty rode the 4rt badly, surely the 4rt is just as good at climbing hills as the Rev-4?
  6. :agree: Is the WTC turning in to a 'spot the rider who does not ride Montesa'. When will be see the Sherco 4t being ridden and what about the Beta 4t? Best of luck to James and TRW

    Beta 4-stroke

think of the Beta like a fat bird, she's a bit lumpy around the edges has a smooth touch and can go like the clappers when opened up!!! wonder if R2 is interested now.
  8. Speed cameras finally cured me of that addiction. Still get the DT's on a Sunday though. Thank goodness for trials! I know, and i'm going to see The Doctor ( ) about my right hand problems. Novogar: The bike will be registered soon!!!! i'm getting excited with the thought of.......killing myself. If there is anyone riding these events and can spare a moment at a trial to help me through a section with lines and gears it would be much appreciated. I haven't decided which events to ride i'm doing my homework to find out which ones are for my ability (most probably 85% of them). look forward to see any T.C's member
  9. I like the idea kind of work it to your advange , how about a story: "I hit this 9 foot rock step flat full-on but the rear wheel was off line and slid just as a crested the step which made me lay the bike on its side, it was a lucky save" ...one for the grand kids maybe
  10. A very strong possibilty we could meet but i first need to get my bike road registered. Talking of which i like your website, i've just returned to the road on an old 750cc Kawasaki, the bikes lives the wrong side of 100mph+ although i've never been at that speed on the road honest
  11. OH NO!!!! I'd go for number 4
  12. Thanks Betarev3. I'm going to sound really stupid with this question; where do i find out how to enter and which trials have road work. I'm also thinking about changing my rear tyre i've an IRC which is a little soft
  13. I've read with interest John Collins information and input from Perce and all you others (excellent info). John Collins comments have now pushed me to think very seriously about riding the championship, but i do have some points perhaps John will not be able to help with. I've never ridden outside my centre (south eastern) .i'm not a centre expert rider and at a push i'd say i'm am average intermediate. Although i now have a ruff idea about what type of sections i may encounter i've only ever ridden in woodland and in streams and muddy banks. Can anyone help to give me a better idea of the type of sections i would encounter at a typical Novogar trial. If this is of help , i have observered at the SSDT in 2003 and those sections where a little bit to hard for me then, but at the end of each day i was able to ride my section almost clean. That said i have improved a little since 2003 and so would now consider entering the SSDT perhaps in 2008. I have made enquiries about this championship to riders in my centre and i've been told to avoid certain events because the sections are way to hard. (i'm not saying which events). Is there a steward to oversee these events to stop the CofC getting carried away. The last thing i want is to travel 200miles to an event i've no chance of riding. I pre-empt a thanks for any reply www.trialsinfo.com
  14. I was going to say, looked like a dam fine ride to me! he smiled whilst taking the 5 i'd have

  16. In your case badly!!! You've got to be a nutter riding the bike you ride
  17. I do like the baby scorpa, I also like the 200cc Gas Gas. I ride the 300cc Gas Gas and like Big John says I may fall into the category of being 'over biked'. I don't mind saying that seeing a Ariel 500 fully open is terrifying experience, such a beast of a bike some of them Pre67's. I've questioned why I choose to ride big trials bike and the answer is it makes me feel more confidant knowing I
  18. That white and red bike looks stunning. How do they get those plastics and how much would it cost to change the bikes appearance like this?....and who does the work. I all like the red 4rt with the black rims - beautiful bike sorry i've forgotten who you are.
