We all tend to forget what others gave up to give us the freedoms we all take for granted these days, not just the WW1 but every successive conflict since where our soldiers, sailors, airmen and civilians have given their lives so that we can live ours. I remember a programme on TV years ago called ANZACs about the Aussies and New Zealanders who fought in WW1, most memorably in Gallipoli before joining everyone else in Flanders. It starred Paul Hogan and I think we expected a light hearted look, how wrong we were. Around the same time I heard Mike Harding, the folk singer sing the song below written by a Scotsman, Eric Bogle who has lived in Australia for 30 odd years, the lyrics say much, It hit me hard, we must never forget: Now when I was a young man I carried me pack And I lived the free life of the rover. From the Murray's green basin to the dusty outback, Well, I waltzed my Matilda all over. Then in 1915, my country said, "Son, It's time you stop ramblin', there's work to be done." So they gave me a tin hat, and they gave me a gun, And they marched me away to the war. have to take my hat off to Gas Gas, they have approached the 4 stroke thing from a completely different angle to everyone else. Side valve engine, allegedly high capacity (bigger than a Sherco) and EFI. Be interesting to see how it pans out for them, don't fancy one I have to say but applaude them for having the guts to try something different

Ball of the foot all the time, if you look at the pro's that's where the pedals are set up and where you get the best cadence dynamics on the road. Even on your bike trials jobs the ball has to be better in terms of leverage and stability

Boyesen Reeds, 27.5/145 jets mixture screw 1.75 turns out, couple of minutes warming up gently and as they say robert is your fathers brother!!! everything a lovely sandy brown colour and It don't leak fuel either...sorted

Fully agree, nice one kid. As to why the Italians can run two big teams - easy money, they can get it and unless somebody in the UK has that kind of foldy stuff to throw around we might always be in the dark ages. Thank god the talent comes from these shores
