Dear users of the internet... it's your lucky day! I've decided a quorum of people I've never met should pick my next bike, since I can't quite make up my mind (note: insert internet sarcasm here)

 

What'll it be: a Factory EVO 250 or a TRS (displacement unknown)?

 

Pros

 

Beta: lots of bling, proven package, I've had one before and they go forever, pretty easy to work on, familiar and italiano! come io!

 

TRS: new(!), no paint (it all gets rubbed off anyway, so why bother), looks even easier to work on in terms of access.

 

Cons

 

Beta - clutch issues (clutch fix)

 

TRS - unproven

They need money to keep the state unions going, and they do make a reliable product with great support. 

You only live once, trs!

TRS. So you can tell me if it's better than a Beta.

I'd get the beta because I'm not confident in new trials companies.

 

But really I'd get a 4rt

Let's face it guys we all would buy a 2rt if Honda built one

Have you ridden both?The Beta is the sensible choice,I feel the TRS is the better bike but it's too soon to be certain.

Out of idle curiosity, anyone know if Raga runs the same carb on his bike, or if he's using his own kit?

nothing wrong with dellorto carb, very reliable
