  4. You could just replace the spokes? Wouldn't be surprised if the 4rt spokes are a direct fit.

  6. This is a Jotagas rear wheel with a later model rear caliper in the 'wrong' bike. It just took a load of measurements, home made spacers, a touch of filing and it lined up nicely. The front forks and clamps are 40mm Marzocchi from a Gas Gas. Stuff will generally fit but it takes a bit of searching for the measured part you think will fit, such as alternative bearings and spacers.
  7. Hi everyone! I have just purchased and old rusty 1999 315r with rusty spokes and nipples that make impossible to center the rear wheel. I found a cheap 2008 4rt rear wheel, that have different disc/sprocket bolt pattern, but will it fit into the 99’ 315r? Wich spacers/mods must have to be done? any help would be appreciated. thanks!
  8. I guess you have never used the water trick. Which is the best way to get your brakes working in just a few minutes. Just over heat your rotors and hit them with a bucket of water. Instant sharp brakes.
  9. Facing a similar issue, Fitted a similar case but find the splines dont protrude through enough (same as image shown above) and that I can pull the kickstart shaft out by 10mm, I could space that out with a teflon spacer but does anyone know if the RT or DT100 (or early dt175 twin shock) kickstart shaft is longer than the standard TY shaft? Or do these models have different crankcases that positions the kickstart shaft further out with the correct clearance to the clutch case? Has anyone successfully extended a kickstart shaft by cutting, welding in a new section? Looks like the kickstart shaft would have to be about 10mm longer than std TY175 to use these older cases. Thanks
  10. Hy, maybe anybody has the same problem. My Vertigo R3 MY 2021 starts poorly when hot. When the fan was running and the engine was off longer than about 15sec. it fires up very poorly. The problem was the capacitor and the cables which look like this: hope this helps anyone BR M
  11. ....do you mean the sump guard/skid pan?
  12. Last week
  13. Try acerbis, they usally do good aftermarket plastics
  14. I am looking to buy new plastic for my dirtbike (fantic xx125) and thought buying it directly from an authorized dealer was way too expensive (330€) Does anyone know a brand or anything that makes plastic for the fantic mx bikes? thanks a lot.

I got my 21 TRS 300 registered in Kalifornia (green) sticker out of state bike
  16. 21 TRS 300 I replaced seals and shaft and pressure relief valve all is good for 6 months and it's leaking again . Is there different seals I can put in it ?
  17. That is because S3 messed up making them
  18. Hi, My name is Kutang. Motocycle is my passion in any form. I love reparing bike and riding them. I like to verify and conform my thoughts. See you in my new topic about Beta Evo 300.
  19. Hi does it matter which way around the spring is fitted?
  20. Hi Sergio, I am very surprised the User's manual reports that the upper right leg is compression...checking better older and newer manuals all report that right upper leg adjustment is compression! Please see screenshot attached!
  21. Try with an easy test, install a new original Keihin #98 main jet, the one in the bike may have a smaller hole due to corrossion
  22. Ineresting project. But you missed the boat with no ground clearance.
  23. Hello, It Is a very long time that I don't show any of my bike but I was very busy for my oldtimer bikes; here you are the extrema 230, engine based on Honda xl200 case but inside a lot of trials items, drum brakes, superlight marzocchi forks, superlight fournales monoshock, home made frame; weight without fuel 63kg; all comments are appreciated, if required better details available, best regards.
  24. I just sand them dry and put them on dry to break them in. One thing I did run across recently was wedge shaped pads, one end contacted before the other. I had to keep sanding the high side until the pad face was parallel to the steel backing plate. Might want to watch for that, they performed poorly out of the package. Bought a set of pads with lots of brass flakes in them, those were garbage and I went back to Galfer reds.
  25. Got a free online owner's manual with the bike but had to pay for an online repair/service manual which, frankly, has very little useful info in it. But, GasGas is KTM now ...
  26. You have to buy a GasGas service manual? that sucks, it should come with a new bike.
  27. Beta looks mint, You have certainly made the right decision, It will last years and they ride lovely, turn on a sixpence and are the easiest bike to ride in my opinion,With a bit of maintanance wont cost alot to run.
  28. try some high temperature gasket sealant this will stop any leaking exhaust gasses
