Hi chaps im restoring a ossa mar 1976 mk11 , ive aquired the correct amal 627 carb for it, but when fitted it will not flood on the tickler,the fuel flows ok and theres fuel in the float bowl but when the tickler's held down it just wont over flow so the bike wont start? also im tryng to save the original IDEAL fuel tap but the black rubber tube inside has perished? anyone got a spare or knows someone who has? cheers Nick.

Anyone had any experence decoking/repacking the exhaust on an Ossa mar 1976? mine appears to have had some work at some stage as both boxes have been cut all the way around and then welded back up. Is this the best way to do it? will the perforated tubes come out attached to one end only?

Hi fellow Montesa owners. I know this site states Twin shocks, my Montesa is a single shock, I need some help please, I have a Cota 307 and need some info on the ignition electrics. No spark been testing the individual parts , any body got any suggestions where I can go to get the info .

Looking for some new rear shockees for my TY175, here in Aus I can't find any importers so I'm having to look further afield. I have a couple questions with regards to the above. I am at the point of putting the transmission into the engine cases. When locating the selector drum should it be in neutral or a specific gear and how do I tell if it's in the correctly selected gear? Cheers John

A 'Which Bike' test of the 1978 Monty 247 which I now know was called the 247C, the 'C' standing for competition. So it must be suitable for trials I guess cota 1.pdf
