hi all, have just looked at the tv listings on my vigin box thing and according to them the carlisle event is on eurosport 1 22.15 -23.15, not sure how right this is as they do seem to change things about a bit.

As per title. "We" (read, my wife) have made an executive decision to stay in a cosy hotel with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, etc. etc. on the Saturday night....... ...so have a camping pass up for grabs. England's World Cup defeat is but a sad memory. Its time to look forward to a trip to Myslenice for the Polish Round of the WTC. Again its a hardcore support of Smoggies. Myself, DJ Denzil and 2 others. But I wondered if anyone else is making the trip. I had been strongly advised that Poland is one of the rounds well worth a visit.

So whatever Jotagas are doing this season it looks like they have some funds somewhere with Oriol Noguera signing to ride Trial GP with them. Interesting choice of rider for them. Seems to hot and cold and not exactly high profile. Be good to see what he / the bike does.

Whats the craic with the world championship? Most of them are now man made sections what ever happened to the good wtc were it was a 2 day event and of mainly natural sections apart from the 15th. Is there really any point in going all over the world to ride man made sections that could easily be set up in Spain? The championship has gone downhill so much since 2004 i think. From reading Lampkins and Dabill's trial report from Italy they think it wasnt a good trial either.

I've been following the world scene for close to 10 years now and have NEVER heard or been able to find out what the purse money is in the world events......Do these guys get anything, or do they live off of their sponsorships. I've followed US Supercross for 20 years and was recently bowled over to find out these guys win about $1,500 for a win in the main!! I can see why they drop out so fast and nobody fresh comes in and stays for long.

Guys, have never been to a Trials World Championship round before. Am I right in thinking it would be a little like MotoGP - buy your ticket beforehand, and turn up on the weekend of the event? Seeing as there are no rounds in the UK this year, I thought I might whip over to France for the weekend and watch the French round in Maisse. Anyone got any ideas how I get a ticket or two?
