The most important battle seen in Belgium since 1815. The runner up spot for the 2005 WTC. Whereas Waterloo was a 3 way battle between the British, Prussians and the French. This months epic encounter features the British, Japanese and Spanish. Following the crash in France Doug showed remarkably courage and determination to finish day 1 and ride day 2, against medical advise. He knew then, that the points would matter. Doug's never give up attitude will prevail and he will still be wearing the No 2 next season. Fujigas has already dropped at least one place in the World rankings. If Dougie can retain the No 2 spot then it has been a remarkably season for him. It will …

So we kick off again this weekend in Germany. Am guessing not many expecting to see Toni Bou overhauled this year, so 1st place is pretty much a given I expect. But what and who do we think from 2nd down? these places consist currently of very well established riders with all of the major players (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th places) bar Fajardo having been on the WTC scene for 12+ years now so - Will anything major change in 2011? Will one of the Brits get amongst Raga, Fuji, Fajardo and Cabestany? Will there be any mega stars emerging in 2011?? I personally think Pol Tarres will go big this year Will anyone other than Bou even win a round in 2011? Heres hoping for a good y…

According to the first pictures of the event on this website, the sections are all made on natural terrain, which is nice.

Link to video for TC Supporters now added to front page article. 20 mins of video from 5 different sections on Saturday. It's cost TC 500 Euros to get video rights to the WTC and I have to try and recoup that cost so I'm afraid it's Supporters-only for all video. Day 2 will be added shortly. EDIT: TC Advertisers/Sponsors. some of you don't have user accounts to see these. If you wish to, then contact me

World best score = 2 British best score = 65 Is it: 1. Domestic championship not developing skills on the tight terrain? 2. Observing favouring world best? 3. No stop rules 4. Factory resources favour worlds best? 5. Something else? Are the ACU asking the same questions?

So after a short break the WTC starts up again in France, I must admit I've got withdrawl symptoms and I'm envious of anyone who has made the trip to the South of France. I'm sure it will be a fantastic round. Will anyone manage to put a halt to Bou's impressive start to the season. Can Doug repeat last years French win and thus gain his, amazing, 100th WTC round win. lets hope so. I expect the usual battle between Raga and Fujigas and one can never rule Cabestany out. Be good to see Dibs further consolidate his 6th placing and he will no doubt be looking at the scalps of Friexa and Fajardo. In the junior WTC I would hope and expect an Atom win and a Wiggy podium. Go…
