Lets call it what it is , Trials Racing. It sure doesn’t look like Enduro and the best riders have heavy Trials back grounds. The Brazil track even had sections of difficult terrain followed by connecting loops. Maybe that will be the future of Moto Trials. Instead of hard to score “Non-Stop” just let them ride through the tough sections and keep time. Fastest finisher wins or is that Enduro then? Another idea was instead of Freestyle Motocross (Moto X) were they get scored on their Tricks make it FreeTryal (X Trial already taken), were a panel of judges evaluates the style, trick difficulty, and originality and produces a score on a 100-point scale. Easily adapted t…

I have not seen any announcement of if/where X Trial highlights will be broadcast. A quick scan of the Motors TV schedule didn't reveal anything. Does anybody know if highlights will be televised?

Team selection for GB? Price and Martyn, with no Dabill... If i didn't know better it would nearly look like the X-trial organisers chose that team

In X-Trial the course clerk stands at the start of the section, gives the rider the OK to begin, and then walks away. But the countdown clock doesn't start until the bike has moved past the base of the first challenge. A manual stop watch would be too subjective and inaccurate. Is there a hidden electronic device or photo eye?

With Toni Bou having already claimed his 20th consecutive X-Trial World Championship title at Chalon-sur-Saone, the final round of the season heads to Tarragona on April 18 — a first-time venue for X-Trial at the CaixaBank Tarraco Arena. While the title is settled, there is still plenty to race for: Jaime Busto (GASGAS) and Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) are locked in a close battle for second in the championship, and Harry Hemingway (Beta) will be looking to build on what has been his best-ever X-Trial season after pushing Bou to the final section in Leeds. The Tarragona arena promises to be a spectacular setting for the season closer. Will anyone be able to beat Bou on the …

I am pretty disappointed with the Job that FIM does to promote trials. The Xtrials happened almost 1 month ago in France and still nop where to be found online! On top of that they took off the youtube video that was circulating. For Fans around the world is hard enough having to know who won it first hand before you even watch. at least they should let us watch after. How hard is it to broadcast a trials event on line??? p*** poor job if you ask me

I'll bet that SPAIN wins the 2011 TdN, and you bet that JAPAN wins. Fujinami was in 2nd place in the world going into the last round of the year, so it should be a pretty even bet, eh? And in 2008 the Japanese TdN team finished second in the world. I'll even give you THREE TO ONE ODDS! [Please ignore the fact that Spain had 14 (fourteen - no this is not a typo) grand-total points in the recent 2010 Trials Des Nations, and Japan had 218 (two hundred eighteen - yes you read that correctly) *MORE* POINTS THAN THAT!] If you take this bet then I also have a bridge in Brooklyn that I'll sell you real cheap, and I have a million dollars for you if you can just give me your ban…

Check out the time frame between 1 minute 1 second and 1 minute 4 seconds. Watch closely as the minder clearly grabs Bou's front forks and then Bou dabs and the minder quickly pulls away. Then try to watch the observer score the thing. Watch as his hand is closed, then slowly opens to what looks like a five, then quickly just holds up one finger. What do you think Bou actually score on his card? You make the call.
