i have just bought a 05 125 beta it runs really well but every now and again it seems to be running out of fuel it dies when you try to rev it but then it clears it self and runs ok has anyone had any probs MO IOM

While on Holiday in the Algarve last week we went to the Faro M/C bike rally near Faro air port. although not a trials event it is one of the biggest motorcycle events in the world, with around 120,000 motorcycles taking part. It had everythink you could ask for, very loud rock consort that started around 10pm every evening and went on till about 4am, 24hr drinking , fun fair, erotic dancing, (real hot bitich's ) Custom bike show, side shows etc, and the ball of death, which i belive is band in England. But the most impressive stunt was the fact that some lads from Britain rode there on Honda 90 step throughs, thats about 2000 miles. Aparently it took them 11 days. Ma…

Just signed up for this and well worth the ten quid. Just seen all the extra pics and video clips of France and looking forward to loads more from the italy round. If anyone wonders whether its worth the money I can safely say Yes it is, and no doubt helps with the costs of running this top site.

im 25 yo, and i went to the 4th round of the world trials on sunday. First trials Ive been to and it was great. I finally want to get a bike after years of wanting one...Been into biketrials for a while so Im used to that although been off that for about 4-5 years. Would a montesa 315r be a good 1st bike? Im a honda car fan and like that bike but ive never ridden a motorbike before so I would start off easy on it of course, im used to pedalling i dont know ofm any places to get things fixed aroun dhere either, cumbria...so that may be an issue... I dont want to spend much over 1000 really so could I get something good for that?? Im not sure how long bikes lastbe…

Hi, After me thinking i had a good deal on my 1989 fantic 205, it turns out the clutch is slipping like a wet fish! I have tried to adjust on the lever but makes no difference. Can anyone give me a rough idea of how easy it is to change clutch plates on a fantic? I have done clutches on cars but never a bike. any help would be gratefully received! cheers guys, Iain. This is me learning the hard way that it doesnt matter how many times you do something right and no matter how easy something is, its got to go wrong some time! What went wrong.... The road curves to the right so I was steering lightly with my right leg off the peg. The bike went a little bit past the "sweet spot" so I brought my right leg in to graze the rear brake to balance it out a bit. problem was, I missed the rear brake! Shutting the throttle off did nothing as it was a 5th gear wheelie and low in the rev range so there was no engine braking. As some will know the club seretary is probably the most thankless job in the club. Being the season of goodwill please spare poor Bob,Julie.Annie ,Fred a thought. or whoever has cheerfully tolerated you over the past 12 months. Perhaps some could even go a bit further when attending there local festive trial? Even some Scots think it's nice to be nice.

Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of a second hand/new yellow spring to fit an 06 GG Ohlin Shock. Shock has been recently conditioned. Currently has a black spring and is too soft to suit my 15st stature. Any help would be gladly accepted.

I have an 01 model that I was thinking of making road legal. How easy would it be to get an M.O.T. Will a Trials bike with no lights still pass as long as it has a horn and speedo and is otherwise mechanically sound? Anybody got any recent experience of this and what are the pitfalls?

2011 gas gas 280 with tech forks, removed forks to replace seals. What should be a fairly straight forward job has turned into a head scratcher. I can’t get the new seals to seat properly as the bush will not go back into the fork leg. Has anyone had this before/ similar issues. Any advice would be great 👍

I've just popped a new air filter into my Sherco as part of its wash and brush up. The old one was pretty dreadful. It's my first time oiling and installing one. These bikes have a frame to mount the filter on, so I'm fairly confident I've done it correctly, but it's hard to be certain. Removal was a real pain as it's so small inside the airbox, in my frustration, I didn't note the orientation. I would like to be sure that I've installed it correctly. It's a Twin Air and there is a single seam at the top on my install (shown in pic). It's on the frame and clipped in. Looks OK, but I can't see the underside. Pic attached.
