I’ve got a slow puncher, it turns out the rim tape has a very small split where a spoke has damaged it! Anyone ever repaired a rim tape with a puncture repair kit?

Since I have began riding trials I have developed a issue with my right elbow. It is incredibly painful off the bike and even more so on the bike. It only seemed to become a issue when I started practicing how to hop both front and back. It feels like its just under my not so funny bone on the right side. Anyone with similar issues or input??

Hi folks. Nearly 7 years since I was on this fab forum. Haven't ridden for ages either (injuries etc). SO...I'm after some advice please. I want to get back into trials but without the expense of a van. Trailer also a no-no (nowhere to store it). I'm lucky in that the local club and practice area is only about 15 miles away so I'm thinking about a road reg'd bike that I can ride to the club site AND ride a trial on. Preferably a bike with lights. I'm wondering if the Montesa 4ride (never seen one in the flesh) can have the big seat etc removed in seconds and is it then a normal 4rt underneath? OR..is there another trials bike that has lights/ling ride seat etc than c…

Hey guys, I need to stop blatting around and start some sort of regime to learn new skills on my bike. I'm enjoying it now end... but dont feel im learning much other than my clutch and throttle control and how to fall off With my own sport of basketball there are different fundamental drills you can do that break down the various aspects of the game. If you learn each one the game becomes much easier... I dont have that knowledge for trials riding hence the post Do any of you have training schedules you use to break down the various techniques required to get better? Ideally i'd like to start splitting my riding into 50% fun 50% proper practise. That way i'd like…

Hi, recently purchased a beta evo 4t 2010. Went out on it once and really enjoyed riding it. however before going out a second time, decided to check the fuel and noticed a strange build up of sort of white sludge, at the top of the fuel tank….very strange! I have a 2011 2t evo (so similar age) and the inside of the tank is like brand new… anyone got any idea what this stuff is? Crystallised petrol from being stood maybe? And then, how do I get rid of it?!? not idea on a beta given the tank is build into the frame…!!

As some of you know , I've been searching for a cyl. head to surge tank coolant hose for my 97 section for what seems forever ... Now after measuring the fittings I see I can make the hose out of small straight pieces of hose and some elbows ... My only worry is will I run into a corrosion issue between the Magnesium case's and copper fittings ? Or should I use some temperature / pressure suitable high quality pvc fittings ? I'm wondering about dissimilar metals reacting to each other . Does anybody have any insight ? Glenn

Ive spent my share of time watching film of pre-'65 events. During this time, did most bike start as a road bike rather than being purpose built? What type of modifications were typically made?
