I'm thinking of buying a Citroen Berlingo but have read that they can be prone to electrical problems, has anyone had this with their van?. If it's something trivial like the clock not working I'm not too bothered but if it's anything thing to do with these bloody engine management systems I'd be a bit more concerned. Also does anyone know what MPG you get from the 1.9diesel (I'm on a budget so I'm not getting owt fancy like an HDI) Any other problems with the van? Cheers in advance for any help

Hello all, can anyone tell me if a trials bike fits into a Citroen Berlingo van, i dont expect to be able to ride it in of course but can it be positioned inside without taking bits of the bike? The reason i ask is that i have noticed a very good deal on a nice one that is local to me. I can not take a bike round to try it as i am currently without one & will buying one next month. I have looked at load space but what i need is for someone to be able to tell me that knows as you cant beat good first hand advice, cheers Andy.

  4. Hi there. I'm currently thinking of selling our motorhome which is also my motorcycle transport. I just want a small van with 3 front seats. I've been looking at the new shape Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot partner 2019 onwards. It seems they come in a short and longer wheelbase. I was wondering if anyone has any experience and maybe photos of fitting their trials bikes in one of these vans. The long wheelbase one can probably fit a bike in straight against the side? Can you fit a bike in the short wheel base model ? I see part of the passenger seat folds forward. Can you get the front wheel through there ? Have people had to remove the bulkhead to get bikes in ? I would re…

Hello folks, I'm after a small van. due to it's low price and simplicity, my number one choice is a citroen c15. But i'm unsure if a trials bike fits in the back. Has anybody had any experience with these or seen somebody using one for bike transport? I'm also considering a ford fiesta courier. Again, if anybody has seen one used for bike transport, then i'd love to know. Many thanks, losgamblos

Hi, Noob question. Do you clean your bikes after riding (especially now when there is a lot of mud) and before puting in into the car? If so, do you carry some water and battery powered jet-wash? I mean this is probably less of an issue for van owners. But if you use a car (like Berlingo) then it ma get very messy very quickly. Just thought that it may be easier to clean the bike pre-trasport rathen than clean the car later on.

Does anyone know if you can get two bikes in with the bulkhead still in? Or does it need to be removed? Chopping my car in simply to save money and got a really good offer on a 2013 combo.. will most likely only ever put one bike in as I trial with family so I’ll only use it to transport my bike back home for servicing occasionally. May possibly need to fit two bikes in if we all decide to go to different trials!! Anyone got any experience?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a bike cover to use when transporting a trials bike on a car bike rack? I'm wanting something to keep the salt and road grime off the bike when transporting it in bad weather. There's loads of options for road bike storage but I can't seem to find one the right size for a trials bike.

I'm hopefully picking a bike up on friday and I'm in a rush to get a tow bar as I can lend a trailer for now but my eyes are on a dave cooper rack for future reference. What sort of mounting is it that they use? From what i understand, you dont need a tow ball as it bolts to where the tow ball usually bolts to. Would this do? And would I need extra support brackets as though I'm pulling a trailer due to alot of weight being over the bracket? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Towbar-fits-Citr...=item1e58a9b674 ********** Nothing much, contacted Dave? And he explained what I needed and suplied me with added extras just to make sure I wasnt lookign around for stuff once I recie…

  16. Hi, I bought a bike rack from Dave Cooper to transport my Rev3 on my Honda Civic and as told to by them I bought the Bak-Rak swan neck to flange converter. Which is apparently what is needed for the standard Honda Civic tow bar. I fitted it as instructed but the rack sags back (away from the car) even before the bike goes on, and then twists back more when the bike is on. The whole unit also rocks a lot. I explained this to Dave Cooper who told me it was a Bak-Rak issue and Bak-Rak told me it's fine and does this. Does anyone have experience in this or suggestions on how to make it feel more secure? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello everyone, has anybody out there ever put a Dave cooper bike rack on a Landrover freelander 2 the reason I am asking this is because I"m unsure which rack to go for due to there being no spare wheel on the tailgate, standard car rack or 4x4 ? I have plenty of clearance from bumper with towball, and previously many years ago had one on a ford mondeo which stuck out enough from bumper so just putting it out there, thanks.

  18. Had Dave Cooper make me a push bike rack that fits my trials bike rack mounting ...Well happy thanks Dave ...

Hi guy's, i just got my new rack to bolt onto my girlfriends corsa, the thing is when i put the bike on the bike wants to lean right into the boot, whats the best way to strap her down also i take it the the two removable parts just sit in the bar that bolts to the towbar, would these not need a pinch bolt of some sort to stop it bouncing out or do they sit in fine? , sorry for the daft questions, i have not yet used the rack yet. Infact any pics of your bike strapped on would be fantastic. Cheers, Steve
