After my post about the return to no stop lots of valid points have been made.. There are definitly two camps trials riders and trick riders. Is it time for a spin off /new style of trials ????? you now get extrem endoro H&H , cross country, time card ect. The motocross boys get supercross and regular. Is it time we had a new breed of trials championship???? Lots of peole will say we have classic champs and indoor ,all valid points, but there is no champs or series wich caters for ordinary blokes on modern bikes ,I hope this will change under the new rules ,but do we need a new champs for the kids and hoppers,I think they have it now but not many bother to ride..…

Here they come with another excuse . It looks like nothing from the onset until you sit back and think . Just done a trial in the south lake district . On speaking to the club secretary he told me they have just lost part of their land under the ruse of SSSI ( site of special scientific interest ) , land that has had cow sheet spread over it by the same farmer for 40years . Think the clubs been on there since 1927 under one name or another and walkers have been going there for donkeys years , you get the picture don't you . The rocks are seen throughout this area and look like they've been shoved up from the seabed.Quite spectacular really. The weather has had it's …

Can someone explain the marking system on the Scott. I have watched videos and noticed several riders in a section at the same time. Are the sections not walked thhrough first and are there more than one observer at each section ie one observer/rider in the section. I am puzzled as to what happens.

At various trials I have got chatting to a guy from the north east (I think) who rides a Scorpa. He had a alloy fuel tank mounted to the front of his forks where the number plate would go, which he had had made for him. He was definately at the Lakes last year, and I think he was at the Manx. He also brought some engine covers for his scorpa off my mate. Anyway the point I am trying to get at is, does anybody know who he is? I would like to get a picture of his fuel tank so I can have a go at getting one made. If he doesn't mind me copying him. I am hoping to possibly do a few long distance trials/ a bit of trail riding on my monty and need to carry more fuel safely. Or…

I've met a lot of Brits on tour at the World rounds this year and we've had a great time. A thought that sprang to mind as a possibility for next year was an organised trip to a round - France, Belgium or somewhere else relatively close. I'm sure we could get preferential rates on transport and accomodation if we could get numbers together. Thoughts?

How many superstars out there are attending the (annual beer drinking competition!!!) excellent trial, in a fortnight. Most of our lot are going up on Thursday night - to make full use of the facilities that have been ordered to the start field. (Lads no speedo's, and girls no swim suits). Hopefully the weather will be like it is today - red hot! giving us all plenty of chance to cool down at night with a pint or two. See you there Boyd

Hi Guys, Does anyone happen to have a copy of Junior kickstart from 1981. Over the past 15 years i've managed to build up a collection of all the adult and junior editions but 81 is proving impossible. I've tried several people who rode that year but not joy either, if anyone could help or point me in the direction of someone who could it would be greatly appreciated. Martin Arden and Rob Sartin were the winners if that helps. Cheers

Hi guys my first post on the forum so I'd like to firstly say hello to everyone , I've recently decided to make the jump from motocross over to trials , having spent most of my teens riding cycle trials it's something I've always wanted to do but all my mates ride mx so that's where I found myself. I've not sourced a bike yet but I've got a budget of about 1700 to 2k . I can't help but keep looking at the montesa 315 hrs , something about them bikes I love , I've read a lot of thread on which second hand bike to buy and the conclusion of most is find one that's suits your riding style , but how do I make that call if I've never riden a trials bike before ? Would the mont…

Hi. Got a beta evo which needs a minor job doing. Cant get the back brake to work propperly. All the trials repair places seem to be over Yorkshire way. Most motorcycle mechanics even people i know who are handy with MX bikes dont want to touch trials. If anyone knows anyone local to me who like to fix trials bike please can you post their details? Thanks alot. Chris
