Hi Recently joined the forum and bought a Rev 3. I'm going to spend a bit of time getting used to the bike but would like to join a club at some point. Looking on here: http://www.easternacu.org/ACU2012/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=487 There are quite a few clubs to choose from! I'm based near Bury St Edmunds. So I wondered if anyone can recommend one to join? I'm 42 so would like to maybe join a club with a similar dynamic or at least a good mix of ages. I also trail ride and might do the odd Enduro if that makes any difference? Thanks Pete

Guys, I'm after a new (to me) used bike... The question is where to start looking for one? Obviously, there are the classifieds here - and of course ebay. Can you suggest any other good places to look? Thanks - Matt.

Hi, I was just wondering if any decisions had been made with regards to the scott trial due to the pure length of time it must take to set out and how long programmes take to be made as to whether it will be on due to this risk of foot and mouth?

After reading the latest ACU magazine i was surprised to see who has won it this year. I have nothing against women riders but i don't think the pinhard cup has gone to the right person this year. Sorry but what has Donna Fox actually achieved this year? She was beat in the British Championship, came nowhere in the European and World Championships, never attempted the SSDT or Scott yet she won it ahead of the like of Alexz Wigg and James Dabill who have achieved so much this year. No youth has won the Europeans before yet he just gets dismissed in the back ground. What does everyone else think?

Can anyone tell me if any club is conforming to TSR8 (and NSC8a)? In the ACU handbook it states- "Trials Standing Regulation. (TSR8) Motorcycles. The supplementary regulations for each event shall indicate the Categories and Groups of machines eligible. Motorcycles must comply with Appendix B of the National Sporting Code and have independent brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Prior to the start of each trial all machines will be examined to ensure that they comply with ACU specifications." I have never had a machine inspected at any event, has anyone?

Afternoon all, I have just registered with this fine forum. Fair play there are a lot of helpful topics and people on here. I was wondering if there are any members local to me (Forest Of Dean) that use their bikes locally? Also are there any other shops apart from BVM Moto in Stroud that do trials bike stuff? Ta very muchly. Chris.

So, when was it ? Now?...................or was it 1990's? 1980's? 1970's? Just been looking at some of Rappers pics on FB, from the 1970's and 1980's which prompted me to start this thread and ask the question I reckon it was the 1970's & 1980's for me - the halcyon days when you could enter a World Round, if you were a good Centre rider without a minder, to catch you How about your opinion?
