Im taking my wife up to Ft William to watch some of this years event. However, shes a bit unsteady (has MS) so ideally need to know if she will be allowed to take a fold up chair to sit and watch? Anyone know if this will be ok? Cheers all.

Anybody else seen the riding number list for this years SSDT? http://www.ssdt.org/images/stories/2014Documents/2014%20Riding%20Published.pdf Dougie (130) is down as riding a '0'. Is this just a very unfortunate typo, or a tactical move to keep under wraps what he'll actually be riding? Will this new Vertigo get it's first outing........?

Hello, I have been reading the supplementary regs and have realised that after going through the final time check I have to stay in the car park. I was planing to go across the road to my accommodation to work on the bike as I will be riding a fantic this year. Does anyone know if any of the dealers would be offering a support service eg shelter and airline (at a cost?) to independent riders? Many thanks

As the title says, does any one know who will be doing the Montesa service at this years SSDT? Craigs did it last year but are they doing it this year?

Hi I have had my entry accepted through the ballot for this years six day. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what clothing is best to wear? Your help would be really helpful.

Having had his entry into the Ballot for the 2014 SSDT confirmed - Gary "Bingo" Bingley is to make a welcome return to the sport with his main aim being winning th ssdt 2014 over 50 award (as he's 50 in February). This will all be for charity -and he is starting his new fitness regime this weekend with some altitude training in the alps. Please give him all the encouragement we can and watch out for more details - He'll hopefully be back on a bike at the Cumberland Clubs New Years Day Trial. Thanks for now. Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me what year it was in the late 60s that Martin Lampkin finished in the top 10 at the Scottish on the little Suzuki? And what was his actual placing? thanks

Just come across a date clash with this years SSDT that may impact accomadation availability in and around Fort William. The British Downhill Mountain Bike championships are been held on the final saturday of SSDT week at Ben Nevis. They ll be a couple of hundred riders plus followers add in the spectators etc and B&B wise it might be a tight squeeze.. As old Fred Pontin used to say '' Book early!''

Considering a new bike and prefer something I can thrash rather than fight. Would a lower capacity bike, like a Beta 2T 200cc cut it for a SSDT first timer?
