This was the 1st trial I've seen since the early 1990s. I forgot just how fun they are to watch! http://www.flickr.com/photos/mbcoulter/set...636210082/show/

Is there any time of the year when the manufacturer's run special pricing through their dealers on last year's models? GasGas has done this in the past. Thanks.

We've all seen Malcom Smith race in the movie and we saw the trials footage as well. Well now his son, Alexander, is continuing the motorcycling legend's ways by racing events like Red Bull's Romaniacs and yesterday he asked me to help him find a good used Montesa. Let's get Alexander on a trials bike. Please forward me any used Montesa you know about; ringomoto@yahoo.com Thanks Ringo

Well, I have not seen anything posted upon here, but seems there was an annoucement on the AMA site if I read it correctly. Figured I would have seen something put out by Clive by now, and I do not want to steal his glory, yet time runs short! Long story made short, I feel a bit inclined to make my annual donation, and will, yet would indeed feel a bit more satisfied by actually getting something(like Clive) off his butt and maybe getting a new sticker or something in response! Maybe I am missing something, or maybe just need to shut up and forget it? But from what I seen, I do indeed think we could have a winning team going on!

For the 4th of July in our town we got a car again to ride over. It has become a town favorite. Weeks before the 4th people are asking if I got a car for the parade. This year we did the Parade in Scotts Valley also. They head guy of the parade argued with me that this was way to dangerous. so I gave him a quick demo and he simmered down. The crowd was going crazy. Lots of thumbs up. Here is a clip. You need to go about 1 minute 20 seconds in. This is the begining of the parade so not to many people watching. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtpYnR5XhvQ...ature=geosearch Here is a smaller clip

Cody Webb ( Gas Gas ) Dominated The NY Terrain for two excellent Wins and now leads the USA Championship 4 wins To 2 over Current Champion Pat Smage (sherco) Keith Wineland had a great first loop saturday to emerge as the early leader.. but Webb cranked the volume and rode brilliantly over the next 2 laps to take the Victory.. sat: 1. Webb (GG) 2. Smage ( Sherco) 3. Wineland(GG) 4. Commo(GG) 5. Davis(sherco) Sunday: A much easier day saw all the Top Riders under stress out of the gate.. 9 relatively cleanable sections and 3 Extremely difficult Slippery Climbs.. Webb absolutely dominated these three sections .. with single marks in the first one section 5 .. the…

I would like to thank everyone who attended the National Trials event in Exeter, Rhode Island. The crowd and campers were plentiful, the weather was great and all were pleased with the riding skills of riders. Thanks for making this a successful event.

Does the seat height or lack of a seat at all have anything to do with Trials Bike Sales or the Popularity of the Sport. I was looking at my sons 2010 Sherco and my '76 Honda TL 250 and thinking. After deciding to hang up my MX Boots in 1975, I decided to give Observed Trials a try although I had never attended an event. But upon deciding to purchase a TL 250, I figured it would make a great trail bike if Observed Trials wasn't for me. I was hooked after my first event. But I am just wondering if the lack of a basic seat on newer models turns people off as current Trials Bikes look too specialized. When I watch new riders ride a modern Trials Bike for the first tim…

Hey Cope or any others in the area, I have a very good friend who left CA yesterday to tow a trailer and car out to Florida. I woke up this morning to see his distressed email wherein his truck caught fire about 100 miles east of El Paso. He got the fire out, tried to call AAA but had no Cell service, no one stopped for four hours until another rig pulls up ON FIRE! The owner of the rig lives 30 miles away from there so I'm hoping they got to his place. I'm trying to get in touch with him now. If any of you are in the area or can offer some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. My friend was very down on life before the trip and he's heading out to the east co…

It is with heavy heart that I report our friend, "Colonel" Mark Hogan has passed away. Plonker's past president will be remembered as a very entertaining, outgoing, inspiring, & fun loving guy who we always looked forward to spending time with both on trials weekends as well as fast bike weekends. Believe it or not, Colonel joined and rode with Team Full Monty on many dual sport rides and he kept right up with "our pack" as we blasted past the rest of the riders both on fire roads as well as single track in places like Kennedy Meadows, Big Bear and the Mojave Desert. Most of you might remember Colonel as the 'exessively large' man riding around the Californi…
