Hello all fellow trials community. I had a 1985 Honda TLR250 stolen on 8/13/17 in the Columbus, Ohio area. The bike was restored with many upgrades and it looked "show-room" new. I cannot express how distraught I am. There are very, very few of these bikes and my hopes are it will eventually "show" up for sale and/or be seen...even if it is years down the road. So, please tell your friends and plant a seed in your memory and if you ever see a TLR250 (not a Reflex), PLEASE take the time to take down information that may assist me in recovering it. gawnej@att.net

Hi All, I have been thinking about something - I would appreciate if you could tell me all the reasons it can't work. Quick background - I am a newbie, have been riding an electric trials bike for about a year (awesome as I can ride it in public parks/woods but limited performance vs a gas bike), never owned a gas trials bike before. I owned some dirt bikes when I was younger so I can take them apart and put them back together without too many parts left over. Used trials bikes in Northern California tend to have a few things in common: they seem pretty hard to find, they are nearly as expensive as new ones, and many of them have a cute little seat and two chrom…

Tether type motor killing devices are now mandatory and yes you have to wear them. Yes vintage guys too. To encourage early sign up the full year membership price goes up after April 15th from $30 to $50. All details are on the web page www.newenglandtrials.com Membership forms are on-line and you can even pay on-line.

Anyone here ride NETA that's open/interested in a new practice partner on occasion? I'm in a bit of a rut, and I think most of it is just down to not having anyone at or above my level to ride with outside of events. I ride Senior B, previously Sportsman, and am about ~1hr from Exeter in Wrentham.

My awesome minder Mont got us some great live action vids of the pro shoot out in Ohio this past weekend. It was a warm and dusty weekend. Fun was had by just about all. I rode poorly but still had a blast. --Biff

Hello all. New club is starting up here in the wild, wild west. This is the announcement that I posted on ADV a couple of months back when the club was formalized - I am proud to announce the formation of a new Trials club, the High Plains Trials Association. Serving Eastern New Mexico, the Texas Panhandle, western Oklahoma and south Kansas, the club was formed to offer Trials riders in these areas an opportunity to ride and compete somewhere closer than northern New Mexico, south-central Texas, or points further. The first two posts here will always be updated with club info, event results, and whatever fun we come up with. We also have T-shirts available. Gots to…

If I read the results correctly, there were two riders in pre '65 Scottish Two Day event by the name of Malcolm Smith. Were either of them the well known American rider?

I am a newcomer to the Pacific Northwest...Living in Longview Washington...just about 30 miles north of Vancouver, Washington. Where can I legally ride my trials bikes? Any vintage trials activities in the PNW? Does anyone in my general area know of relatively legal riding areas? Does it ever stop raining here? Any leads would be welcome... Mike

Hi guys I pretty much know nothing about trials but always wanted one. I remember watching the trials parts in the Terrafirma movies. Anyways If I could save a bit more money and find one cheap (1000-1300) I would maybe buy one. Queston is what would be best. I know going new as I can is best. My biggest question is parts. Are they really hard to find for 90s and early 00s bikes? A quick look at ebay and everything is from the UK and you pay more to ship the part than the part is worth. There a re a couple bikes close to my price range that are close to me. 2001 Beta Rev 3 270 https://boulder.craigslist.org/mcy/5863330785.html Looks to be a clean bike at a…

Just talked to my son. Frexia easily won both days. Very slick conditions and silly loop. No cell service at the event, so info slow coming out. http://mototrials.info/?trigger=result&format=sn08&15plus=Y&ser=10&yyyy=2016&dd=18&mm=06&cityid=or&sct=12

So some breaking news here. Martina and I were on our second loop and Pat come mxing by us on section four obviously on his second loop as well. He had a clean of course and right behind him was and out of breath frexia. later we show up to section ten and were told that frexias minder did some rock moving and it cost him a five. these two will no doubt finish before we do. off for loop three and more dumb dabs. --Biff
