Thank You everyone who has bought a shirt. We did sell a lot of shirts. I have no idea of an exact number. Several were sold through the mail, other were sold at events or the Nationals. I think this will be our strongest team ever and look forward to seeing the results. We do still have a few shirts left. 1 for $20 or 2 for $35 USA-TDN PO Box 913 Boulder Creek CA 95006 Thanks again and I wont bother you about shirts untill next year.

Hey everyone Well the womens event is finished & our girls finished today in 8th position. They were a little dissapointed & struggled having only 2 riders & we certainly missed not having *Louise. Without the 3rd rider you just cannot make any mistakes as every point counts. But they did their best and finished smiling & looked good in their matching (TUCKER ROCKY SPONSERED) gear. We walked the mens sections today and most of them we are capable of (18 total). There are 2 in particular that appear to be separators and are Big. But I think the guys will be able to put on some good rides. It has been fairly warm & humid & it started to rain a…

In case you don't peruse the FIM press releases, I'll bring attention to the recent one at: http://www.fim.ch/sec/documents/f_4277.pdf which has the tentative 08 schedule. While it is preliminary, I'm told it's 99% certain at this point. It's ON! Late April is perfect spring weather in TN, sure to be water in the creek. Mark your calendar for April 26/27! dan

The Rhode Island Trials club is working closely with the AMA and the FIM in an effort to secure a United States World Round in Exeter, Rhode Island in 2015. We have developed a good working relationship with the FIM over the years and have put on several World Rounds, the last being 14 years ago in 1999. We are really excited this year as we now have, for the first time, a US representative on the FIM CTR committee ---- Martin Belair, a long time friend of Rhode Island Trials Club. The FIM has had a recent change in the organization and the new leaders are being proactive to promote the sport of Trials. Some of their changes and rules have been controversial, but thei…

Here it is. The most waited for DVD of all time. The DVD is about the 3 most prolific riders of the 1980s. Hernia Tryharder, The Unknown Trials Rider and Aaron Slickhead. These 3 riders took the World by storm on their factory SMW scoring several World points. No not SWM but SMW. These 3 factory riders had it all. Factory bikes, factory station wagon, women, money, fame and their own riding apparel. They were the original Jackasses No one really knows who these riders are, not even Steve Fracey. But on this DVD they share all of their top secrets of being a Top World Rider. The DVD has 2 different movies and as an extra bonus, Trials crash scenes. The DVD is about 25 …

Hi everyone, Just a note. There will be a Vintage Trials Bike show at TTC during the festivities of the WR and National. Please try to get a chance to come see the bikes, we have some proud owners of vintage iron around. P.S. I'm trying to get a "roughest thing running class" so I can have something there!

I am somewhat disappointed to see the RMTA is using age to determine the winner of the UTE Cup. I read the Article (in T.C. newspaper)and understand their reasoning, but believe it is wrong. Would it not be possible to incorporate a couple of very difficult sections in the Trial to possibly separate the top riders. Such a Classic event should be scored equally among the entry, at least for the top award.

I've been watching this guy and have to give him some props. Vern is an AZ Senior Novice rider. [Ever see the movie Hot Rod? If not, go rent it. Hilarious.] The movie was written about a guy just like Vern, except Vern is 52 years old who acts like a teenager and has a tremendously positive attitude. He is Deadly slow, so slow infact that sometimes you can't tell if he is moving, and that is no exageration. He is so slow, the crowd ends up cheering for him when he gets over an obstacle. To be beaten by Vern, while on a running motorcycle is... well, I can't even imagine. Just the same, he is out there and having a great time. ENJOYING THE SPORT HE LOVES AND NOT COMP…

I will probably do this in a couple of installments as things come to me. Yes, I should really sit down and write a nice neat article, but that is not how my life is working at the moment so I will just try and get the scattered bits and pieces down on electrons so that hopefully some will pass on too the correct folks. The first thing I must say is a huge thanks to Team Sherco USA and RYP, and especially Ryan and Brad. Right there with those guys of course is the entire TTC crew, especially Catherine, Charlie and Dan. There are tons more folks to mention both on the teams and especially from the STRA membership that spent their holiday weekend standing in the woods s…

Here is a release from the AMA regarding a vote that took place yesterday in the US House of Representitives. In a nutshell, it prevented the unilateral designation of over 2 million acres of land as wilderness. Much of this property is currently in use for many uses including fishing, camping, horseback riding, ORV riding and more. This is PROOF POSITIVE that our activisim works. The "greens" will continue their agenda that includes keeping all of us (motorcycle riders of all types) off the land that is paid for with our taxes. We deserve fair and reasonable use and access to these taxpayer managed and owned properties just as they do. So keep your eyes and ears open, …
