Youth Trials

Hi, I have been riding normal club trials for a while now and finally decided to give a proper youth trial a bash! I have a few questions: 1.It says that machine examintion commences at 9:00am and if my start tim is at 11 does that still mean i have to be there at 9????????? 2.It says that during the inspection that tryres will be checked!! what does this mean????? will they not allow a turned tryes???? Who's going to the Bradford Youth Superstars National on 10/11 June? Just wondered cos the Cheadle Non Championship Youth National was changed to a beginners trial I think, due to lack of interest!!!! Anybody got any info?

hello people, can a youth ride a 200cc size engine bike i want to no becuse i have brought a honda tlm200 and im 14 years old. I was just looking on the forum and it made me think and i am thinking of going upto birchwood farm, kidderminster would they let me ride it there. so any idea?

Castleside trials club will be running a kids trial alongside it's main trial this Sunday at Bedburn near Wolsingham. All levels will be cated for from very beginners upover. The routes will also cater for all bikes from Osets up to 125's. There will be plenty of practice time so the kids get confident then we will run a trial. The venue is excellent for kids with plenty of space, rivers etc etc - good traditional trials land for the kids to learn on. Cost is only £5, for that the kids get some practice, a trial, then as much practice after the trial as they want. Bring them along and have some fun cheers John

Due to the heavy rain making the car park impossible to use, the Stratford-Upon-Avon Club trial will now be at Saintbury Quarry and not Top Farm as advertised. Saintbury Quarry is just three miles from the original venue and will be signposted from the A44 at the top of Fish Hill near Broadway. Sorry for the inconvenience, please pass the word around. Pete

OK so round two of the British youth A/B championships Sunday and i think it's all about who will come second to the JLI Beta UK boy's Challoner & Sheppard. Youth B must have MRS team member Richard Sadler looking to push Sheppard all the way but as for A class, who know's I think that the team Gas Gas UK riders had a Sh*t day at Dod park and will come to Cheadle full of fire & venom and out to make a point. The only twist in the tail is the fact that the Cheadle round has a reputation for being an easy trial and at easy trials mistakes pay dear. Anyway at 10am Sunday the Bull Sh*t will stop, and Five & half hour later we will see who's boss.

Just had entry for Cheadle A&B round on March 5th returned with letter saying the event is cancelled due to lack of entries. With 10 days to go before the advertised entry closure this seems a bit premature surely.

Since we're hopefully heading off to the UEM round in Spain, does anyone know the cheapest way to get across the channel? A rubber dinghy is out as we can't fit the van and caravan into one. I've managed to get some reasonable quotes but I'll bet some Yorkshireman has probably managed better!

Looking for a helmet for my daughter to start competing, what an absolute nightmare! Live not to far from a supplier in west cumbria so went to try them on and managed to get one that was a decent fit but had no ACU sticker on. When I enquired about this he said it passed all testing and was not sure if it needed a sticker on or not to compete in trials but did say that they could put one on if needed!! Tried to e-mail ACU with a question regarding this and its been a week and no reply, are they like this? So we are left in a dilemma of do we get the helmet or should we look for something else? After a year best forgotten, Chris has finally had the tonsils removed today that have been making him ill about once every three weeks this year. After a good start to the year he has been plagued with illness and the surgen said his tonsils were very strong and definatly needed to come out. Two weeks rest now and then after a winters training back for a full and hopfully unrestricted attack on the B class next year. Thanks to all our friends and please tell Joel Edwards ( D class champion 2003 ) to keep riding as we started in this together and he is as much apart of the British youth trials scene as anyone else.
