Enduro

Thought I'd have a go at enduro and bought a 1996 Yamaha WR200. Does anybody know what ration of oil to petrol I should be using, the guy I bought it from said 30:1 but this sounds a bit rich to me.

Looks like the big BUSINESS "ACU" have scuppered any chance of six days glory "AGAIN", the trials and enduro commitie seem hell bent on profit not results, how many times do we see this . ANY SELECTION should go on preformance , not following stupid criteria.... I feel sorry for Fast Eddie , having met him a few times, he is a top bloke . its alway politics with the ACU jobsworths... The americans seem to have the AMA and they look after everone, why oh why do we have so many federations and factions allways "INFIGHTING".

It's crazy I tell you, I mean , they give you all the other tools you might need , but not a plug spanner ? Then they have the cheek to give you a bl***y bottle opener, WHAT! So then gents, why is this ? Are KTM trying to promote alcohol or what ? And to top it off, a normal plug socket won't even fit in the hole ! How daft are the people that design these bikes! need some help, I will be going to look at and possibly purchase a 2006 wr 250f and need some advice on what to look for on this particular model, are there any particular faults i need to look for? Also does anyone know if it will fit in the back of my renault kangoo? or will I have to take te front wheel off? thanks for your help Spike

Hi all does anyone anywhere run vintage enduro events? ive got a couple of old(read it175/ pe175) bikes that i'd love to give a good outing but where? please dont suggest turning up at the latest TBEC event with one of these! i'tll be like turning up at the local trial and riding a sherpa 325 on the hard route against scorpa's, betas, etc!!! ,

After many other ideas about cures for my mid life crisis including a Nissan skyline, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru Imprezza, Hayabusa, TVR Tuscan and a whole host of other stoooopid ideas, I'm looking at a much cheaper option tomorrow in Bristol - a KTM 640 Supermoto. Well after much deliberation I've taken the plunge and bought a 2008 KTM 450 EXC-R & free KTM toaster, for some dune bashing in Dubai. Anyone any tips for running one in and what to look out for.
