Does anybody know where to get the paper numbers from that you stick on the front of your bike? I would imagine there must be one or two organisers on here who can point me in the right direction. Cheers.

hi there im currently restoring an ITALJET T100 , cant find parts anywere on the web , especially a piston and ring set as thats the last major item i need to finish the bike any advise / contacts would be much appreciated !!! cheers james

Hi, just changed the clutch springs in my Ossa Mar250 trying to make the pull more acceptable and now the kickstart doesn't work when the kickstart lever is moved by hand there is very little pressure and then you hear (What i assume to be the return spring) make a spring slipping noise, but the engine hardly turns before the spring makes it's noise and the lever just flops. Any guidance appreciated, i have checked cable isn't kinked and has plenty of slack at the lever, but have'nt gone back to original springs yet but i cant see the clutch slipping, as i know the kickstart drives through the clutch. I guess its something obvious i'm missing.

hi,just bought a 64 frame 61 engine tank wheels etc.want to make a trials cub.not ultra competive just a few easy trials.got to build up engine any mods to done.should i convert to points on side what sort of ignition(rex gaunt type).carbs.have a set of 69 b25 forks.any good (better than cubs).any suggestions

Hi anyone can help me I am looking for trails clubs in the East Yorkshire area (near the Humber Bridge if poss). I am trying (money, kids, wife decorating walking the dog ..... etc permitting) to restore a Bulto 198a (has anyone got a 198a 250cc engine out there!!) and whilst it does not have the correct Bulto engine will be ready soon. October 2011 I sat on Santa's knee and when he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him I wanted my barrel relined. He said it was a fairly simple request and to send it to his little Elf to undertake the work. Christmas 2011 came and went and Santa's little Elf had let me down, no barrel, no liner, nothing. As Easter approached, the Easter Bunny reckoned he could fit into one of his lovely eggs if I visited the north pole to collect the barrel! Hi, Can anyone help me with the frame of my recently bought Bultaco Sherpa 350 199a made in 1979, The rear is different to my 250 which is one piece right round, this one is two separate sides. In case anyone didn't hear this sunday's Talmag Trophy Trial, the big annual pre 65 British bike meet at Hungry Hill, Aldershot has been cancelled due the MOD withdrawing the land

I wonder if anyone can help me with some information. I am writing an article for the owners club magazine for a Pre'65 trials bike I inherited from my late father. I remember he took it to an off-road show at Alton Towers in the early 1980's and I think won the concours award for pre-65 trials bikes. I am interested if anyone can confirm the year, the show must have been before May 1985 because I rode it in the Pre'65 Scottish, after which it was no longer concours condition. Thanks in advance.

My reason for posting this is because i am confused as to the differences on rules for Trials between the ACU and the AMCA. Now every year the ACU publish a handbook which is sort of clear, actually some of it is very badly unthought out but at least it's something, with regards to the rules of the sport and the construction of the bikes especially the Classic Pre65 and Twinshocks. However after trawling the AMCA website, because i have never seen an AMCA handbook and neither has anybody else i have asked, i cant find any "rules". Hi all, anybody got any news on the twinshock team trial, the South Birmingham Motor Club are in the trials fixtures as running the event but I have'nt seen any regs or anything, does anyone know if the event will be run.

Dougie Cooper. It was sad news to me when informed by my brother that sadly Doug had past away a few weeks ago. Doug was a part of the “super hero” partnership of sidecar trial in the sixties. Ron Langston and Doug Cooper did more to inspire budding crews to take up the sport of sidecar trials during this time than anyone else. If this pairing could ride a combination to the standard they did, with ease, this was the sport to be in. Every crew just set there sights at knocking this duo from there pinnacle, but that pinnacle was high, and not many got anywhere near close to it, and when they did, Ron and Doug would just turn on the magic, and that would set the bar high…

It was the first round of my clubs trial bike series today. For pre 57 bikes. I didn't ride as i am still waiting for my company car and the guys who normally can fit my bike in their van if I am stuck were busy. I popped over to observe.
