As any one had problems with rear shocker flap i have only rode my new bike for 8 hours and gone through a standard flap and a heavy duty one. Seems like rear wheel is catching it i have adjusted rear spring and damper settings as i am not on the slim side! Also chain is adjusted corectly

Having problems with a 2007 125 cc Rev3. Bike will not start when cold. It acts as though the choke is not functioning. If I give it a shot a starting fluid it will start first kick and once warm will start repeatedly with just one kick and continue to run without any problems. To date the stator has been replaced, crank seals replaced, a carb o-ring kit installed, and the carb (Dellorto) has been off and cleaned at least 4 times, with special attention to the choke circuit. With all that done it still will not start when cold unless I give it a shot of starting fluid first. Would appreciate and thoughts on what to look for.

I own a 2007 270 beta, its done very little, I seems to run spot on one day then the next time I try it it seems to run weak on the mixture and start to knock now and again. Ive tried all sorts with the carb, different needle setting / mixture screw etc, Ive just fitted a brand new stator. Can anyone else help here? any idears as its driving me mad! Thanks Jonathan

Hi im wondering if any one has heard any details of the the 2007 spec beta ive heard its going to be 2 stroke fuel injection and not modelled on the rev 3 any ideas out there

My Opinions Like:- The new top yoke The new silencer guard(looks less brittle) Don't like:- The red plastics (prefered the 06 black) Doesn't appear to be any frame decals like 06 and the swingarm ones aren't up to much) Any thoughts anyone...?

Have recently bought my first trials bike which is a 2007 beta 250. I have problems with the clutch slipping. When I first bought the bike the clutch wasn't working so stripped it all down and unstuck all the plates. I got told it was a new clutch when I bought the bike and on inspection it does look new. He also said it had a new slave. When I used it for the first time the clutch operates faultless and selecting gears is easy however it is slipping lots. Anyone had this before And any ideas what's wrong? Thanks very much.

My mate has a problem i am hoping you can help with. His fan is not coming on. He has tested the fan with a car battery and it spins fine. he decided to wire the fan with a switch but when he connects the live (which he has checked IS a live) to the fan and the other fan wire to earth the fan wont work. The fan motor is fine and the live is live. The earth is good so why on earth wont it spin???????

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 2007 Beta 270 as my first Trials bike, I have played around on Moto crossers for a few years & have finally taken the plunge into Trials. I have never played about with suspension settings before but feel I need to adjust the front & rear shocks. I have downloaded the PDF manual for this bike, but find it quite hard to understand the broken english it has been translated into. Reading the manual & by looking at the table on front fork ajustment it seems i need to adjust the Preload as I weigh over 80 Kgs Is the preload only adjusted on one fork leg? is the damping adjusted on the other leg? Any help & advise would …

Hi my sons 80 has been stood for a year and the plates have stuck. I've freed them but they've gone sticky and keep sticking back together so need a clean. Can anyone tell me how to get this bolt out so I can remove the clutch plates. The bolt is just turning. Thanks

Does the 2007 beta rev have any problems? Is it still competative? Is $2200 a fair price for a 2007 beta rev? Thanks--Patrick

Hi Guys I am hoping someone can give me some advice as to what could be causing what I would describe as excessive vibration from the engine on my 2007 Rev 3 250. The bike always starts and runs fine but I have noticed for some time that there is excessive vibration felt through the frame/pegs which gets increasingly worse at higher revs (both in gear and neutral) which is particularly noticeable when riding between sections. When I bought the bike the waterpump seal had been changed by the dealer but I found that the coolant was mixing with the gearbox oil. When I investigated I found that the replacement seal fitted by the dealer was not seated properly in the housing…

Hi, I'm new to the world of trials and have just bought a 2007 Beta Rev 3 250. The previous owner had for some reason removed all the switches and headlight. I have bought a universal kill switch and wanted to check which wires to connect it to. There is one connector with two wires (1 x black, 1 x white) another connector with four wires (1 x white with black stripe, 1 x blue, 1 x white with blue stripe, 1 x black) and two separate wires (1 x blue, 1 x black). I presume the original kill switch would just plug into one of these connectors but as I do not have one I was wondering if someone could tell me which wires the kill switch should be connected too. Hey Guys, New to this trials thing and have been diligently working to assemble a Rev 3 270 - when installing the shock, I am assuming the rebound screw (at least I am assuming it is a rebound screw) faces the back of the bike? Thanks for the help!

I purchased a like-new (or so the previous owner said....) Rev 3 and have been absolutely perplexed as to why the shock’s top mounting will not accept the mounting plate and why the mounting plate will no longer accept the shock bolt? Unbelievably frustrating as I cannot imagine a more straight-forward procedure...remove shock, replace shock only now it absolutely refuses to fit! Photos attached for reference. Evening all i am setting up a evo80 big wheel for my son and having trouble finding wheel bearings and swing arm bearings. All the ads are for 09 onwards for the evo. Has anyone else had this problem

I am wondering if the changes to the 08's justify waiting for them to arrive vs buying an 07 leftover for over $1000 USD less. In most cases I think it is worth it to wait for the new bike since the leftover is really a year old and looses value fast. However I plan to keep the bike for at least the next 3-4 years. I think it may be worth waiting for the new Keihin carb or is the Mikuni fine with the modification recommended on here? I am also wondering how people feel about a 250 vs 270. I currently have a 99 Techno 250 and I am looking to upgrade it.
