Hi, I know this has been discussed a lot but I'm not sure my problem is the normal thing - it's a 2001 which I THINK doesn't have the problem covers. 2001 Rev 3 270. The gear oil is WHITE - I know "milky" is used to describe this but it's more like dulux paint! I don't have a photo but it was like milk or white paint. I drained and refilled, ran for a few miinutes and the oil is white again. I've seen that the water pump cover etc. can cause problems so I've drained the coolant and opened the WP cover. The coolant is full of little bits of coating/paint from the engine cases but is still a good colour: If it was the head gasket, wouldn't the coolant be contamintat…

I just got one for my 05 Rev3, but the instructions are in Italian. I need help with installation. Especially the fuel hose routing. I"ve have done a hose re routng mod to my carb so it doesn't leak fuel. I'm not sure how the fule line from the new seat integrades to my set up? It also has 3 allen head bolts that come with it. One of them is really long and the other 2 are shorter and in different lengths. Not sure where what side of the bike there for? CXan anyone explain? Has anyone fully installed it to their 05 Rev3 yet? The 06 one is different. And the 4 stroker is different. Thanks

I've got an 08 Rev 3 270 which I use with a long ride kit. My friend has just bought a brand new Gas Gas 300 and now that I am riding with him I'm realizing that my 270 seems very thirsty. We rode together today and I must have used close to 4 litres of fuel to his two. We live and ride at altitude, typically riding from 3000ft to 5000ft in the French alps. My bike mostly seems to run well, but I would say it's a sluggish off a closed throttle especially when you are coming down a long decent off the throttle and you dip the clutch and give it a blip of throttle to get some oil flowing. It needs a really good handful before it runs cleanly. My guess is carb setup, but I…

Just bought an 08 Rev 4 and was thinking of getting a spare rear wheel. I've seen a couple of Rev 3 wheels on fleabay - anyone know if a Rev 3 has the same rear wheel fitted the other way round?

I've got a 93 Super Trial. The rear wheel has a tube-type rim and a rim lock. I've been thinking about converting to a tubeless rim. The path of least resistance would be to drop a whole new rear wheel in, and I can get a TR34 rear wheel for a decent price. Anyone know if this is a bolt-in replacement? Do I need to swap over the brake disc?

I'm going to get this stinkin' GG Pro fully sorted and sell it before it can do me any further harm. There's an '02 Beta near me for a good price, but all I ever read about with these things is about them losing spark...stators, cdi..... Hmmm...maybe I just answered my own question.

Atention heavy riders! This is not a question for those built like a Flamenco dancer................. My forks, (poor things), on a 07 270 purchased 2nd hand from a much smaller rider, tend to dive at the bottom of decents. I was advised not to wind the pre loader in to far as it would make the front wheel push out on tight slippery turn. Can some one on the heavy side give me a guide as to how far down in mm's they have wound their LHS fork pre loader without a detremental effect on steering. The number of clicks out from all the way in on the RHS would also be useful. Thanks.
