Dear fellow motorcycle trials enthusiasts, I would like to take this opertunity to bring you up to speed with recent events regarding my friend Jon Sands, (big boy) and his stolen Beta evo 250 2010. The bike was spotted for sale on eBay and once the confirmation was made, the police insisted on handling the situation. Unfortunately the seller sold the bike early on eBay for cash before a trap was placed. Jon was told that the police would visit the ebayer and interviews him about the sale, please now take a breath and read the following. 1) The seller told the police he bought the bike from an auto jumble at Kempton Park for cash. 2) No receipt no names etc. 3) The …

This is just a heads up to all in the Richmond North yorks / Catterick area, we where broken into lask night our well locked tool shed door was mashed open but nothing was taken, leading police to belive they did not find what they where after. There where a coulpe of other similar events in the area so be on guard. Maybe im being paranoid but i always assume the scummy robbing lowlife ****ers are after my bike.

Any recommendations for a garage alarm? I've been looking at various ones; they're not expensive but I have an issue with the delay time before they go off. Some have 15 seconds, which seems enough to allow the scrote to smash to siren before it goes off. Others only have 4 seconds, which with my sticky up-and-over door may not give me quite long enough to cancel it before I get hit by the noise. I would have thought somewhere halfway between would be ideal.

Llangollen and District Motorcycle Club, of which I'am a member, had their trailer and quad stolen last Monday (26/4/10). Both were stolen from a farm near Llangollen. The trailer, Ivor Williams twin axle, contained all our gear for setting out our trials, red/blue/yellow/white section markers, fluorescent paper round type bags for the markers, observers boards, club signs and the quad - green Kawasaki 350cc 4x4. The (not very good) photo shows the trailer. If anybody happens to be offered any of the items or spots them for sale anywhere, please pm me with the details. Thanks Paul............

I had the back of a locked shed removed to get to my Beta Rev 3 270 (2007) between 8-16 December. They even took spare petrol and oil! I only had the bike 7 weeks and there is no insurance. Utterly heartbroken. How can people be so heartless?
