Stolen Bikes

Today I found that the secure lock-up where I keep the bikes that won't fit in my garage, isn't. Sometime over the weekend, my girlfriend's 125 Sherco, and my Honda CRF250x, were stolen. The thieves destroyed a steel security door, and tried to cut the lock off the gate, eventually making their escape by cutting a section of chainlink fence when the lock defeated them. This was from Cuddington, Cheshire, a couple of miles from my house. The Sherco is an '05, and has a few distinguishing features, most obvious being a Kehin carb. The Honda is an '04, registration PN04 PZJ, with a full lighting kit and 40mm bar risers. Any info most gratefully recieved. Mark

hi my dads garage was broken into wed17/12/14.my honda tlr 200 was taken its fitted with a fantic disc front end wes silencer and rockshocks .the back hub had the fins machined off fitted with a red tank cover not sure on frame number.also taken was a suzuki i dont know much about this as its not mine.been told the frame number wasnt showing as a mod had been done to the footrest.the house is in a dead end two cars spotted leaving the lane a maroon & silver vauxhaull.

My mate crashed, broke both his wrists the other day, the bike was left parked up while he walked about a mile to the nearest house to get help and by the time someone returned to collect his bike it had been stolen. The bike was left at grid reference 164209 on Ordnance Survey Landranger Map (Pink cover) No. 166 Luton & Herford. This lane runs from the top of the Water tower at Whitwell and goes towards Whiteway bottom, it was left at the junction where the lane splits and joins the fast blast across the field down to the lane that leads to Whiteway Bottom itself. After hearing about my friend who had his bike stolen I have also found out another one of my friends who runs a off orad tour company has been broken into over the weekend. My dads TY175 has been stolen in the Billinge area (Nr Wigan, North West) - from my garage between 10.30pm last night and 5.30am this morning. last saturday night my lock up garage was broken into and both of my daughters' motorcycles were stolen, she is heartbroken. One is a pw80 the pink and white version and in mint condition and the other was a ty80 runner but tatty...... have frame no's if i get any leads. shame but they must of been a bit stupid because they left the more expensive B40 behind??? just lucky my gasser wasn't in there too! but they cut off four big security padlocks from each corner of the door and then broke it off the runners..... any suggestions to what i can do to the next one i get to keep the thieving scumbags out??? i have decided not to keep that one after that. thanks in advance for…

My bike has been stolen tonight whilst in process of sale. To cut a long story short, I agreed to deliver the bike to the buyer's address. When I met him there we went through everything like normal, and long and short of it was he rode off down the main road and by time I had spun round the van and given chase he was gone! Hi, My friend has had his shed raided last night, padlocks were cut off the shed, the chains were cut from around the bike and then the gate padlocks were cut off also. The bikes were: 2010 Beta Evo 250 but with 2012 decals on white palstics. 2010 Beta Evo 80 The evo 80 was only bought for his little last week and ridden for the first time at the weekend I will post the frame numbers up when im told them, there is a reward for these bikes being recovered as well, any info greatly appreciated.

Hi all As of 12pm sunday, me and my brother lost our race and trials bikes. Four bikes in total were stolen and 2 cars (one brand new for my mums 60th birthday) very badly damaged. However due to what i can say is very good work by the local police authority we now have our bikes back, although now in a very different location. Seems the scum (i would use harsher language but I know minors read the forum) rang up about a motocross bike for sale advertised in papers and said they would come around. sorry to say had my 340 stolen from the shed last night in the hebden bridge area, central pennines, between leeds and manchester. brief description 199b unrestored, bit rough but ok. aluminium tank with earlier decals, gold renthall bars with blue crossbrace. new dunlop803 front tyre, new irc tubless rear. both wheels having been rebuilt. weld repair to left hand downtube above the footrest bracket, not ground off, dellorto sticker on swing arm. please keep an eye out at practice ground etc. needless to say

Please can you keep your eyes and ears to the ground, some scumbag(s) have stolen from our garage the Montesa 4RT Repsol 2006 Trials bike , Frame number ending in "319". these folks knew what they were doing and managed to steal this with a D lock on the front wheel and a R1 Wheel attached to the sub frame. (managed to actually take the wheel out of the R1 in a very bike like professional way - so they are bike savvy! and neat!). Got woke up this morning at 2-20am alarm on garage going off ,dressed as quickly possible and to the garage in record time to find garage door bent open from bottom,the door handle and padlock to bottom right corner entact....But my Gas Gas 280 txt ltd edition 03 model GONE...
