Anybody got a inlet to carb rubber ? I've tried Martin and Jumbostu. Thanks Ross Must be the SWM straight one, not the cranked Aprilia etc.

Spotted this bike for sale on eBay here ..............with a very unusual front pipe set up, anyone know anything about this mod ??

Pulling the trigger on a new rear tyre, my riding buddy tells me I should go for a IRC locally at £75 inclusive. Are they OK on SWM standard rims? Currently running a 4 year old Michelin, that's hard as nails, which has never sat right on the rim properly, one side is always higher than the other no matter how many times we fit the tyre so I look like (yes, I know and ride like!) My 350 Jumbo had a 15 tooth countershaft sprocket which looks gigantic. Does anyone know what the original set up was for front and rear? Also are there supposed to be spacers between the front sprocket guard and the engine cases? Thanks

I recently acquired a 350 jumbo in very nice shape. It has been ridden quite a bit, so I took the top end apart. The piston and cylinder look amazingly good (I did measure with my gages and the cylinder is still within spec. for a cylinder of this size). But, the end ring gaps are about 20 -22 thou. I'm getting the piston coated with an abrasive powder coating product that they use in very high performance/horsepower engines. been doing this to all my bikes for 10 years and have had amazing results. So, does anyone know if OEM standard,1st or 2nd over piston rings are available? They would be an 82.0mm, 82.25mm or 82.50 mm... as needed, I'd file down to fit. From w…

Hi all, I would appreciate any ideas as my Jumbo is now generally running fine but when going down a hill or slope with the throttle closed it needs the clutch pulled and a bit of revs to clear it out before going on. You can use the decomp.-valve to clear it but a few revs are better. One thing I must add is that it has a rear silencer from the TL320 which has 2 smaller exit tubes (th Jumbo should have one bigger one). The silencer is not restricted though. The carb was jetted according to the works specs. without reed valves as from the engine number it should be a late bike.

Hi all has anyone out there got a picture of the clutch lightening device with two cables for the Jumbo ?

After much neglect I've gotten back to my Jumbo 350 project bike. The previous owner was about 90% done with the restoration when he took ill and was unable to complete. It's missing the front brake lever and I'm not sure what kind of throttle and clutch levers are on it. Could someone please tell me what levers and throttle were originally used on this bike? I'm hoping they used the same Domino gear that was on the Fantics as they work well for me. If possible I'd like to stay original or at least period correct. Also regarding the secondary clutch lever under the tank (not sure what else to call it) is angled slightly off of 90 degrees. Should it lean towards, or a…

Hello ppl, does anyone know if Jumbo forks ever left the factory with these overly long blue fork boots ? The boots on mine are much shorter black jobs, possibly not the original dust boots/covers. Refer attached.

I am after bit of advice connecting the ignition breather behind the gearbox filler on a Jumbo, there is just a rubber grommet with a hole in, i can thread an 8mm pipe ( i think it is 8mm od ) for a short length but does not seem to go in very far, does it need securing with silicone or can it be blocked up? i am running an electronic ignition.( Rexspeed) Or do you have to remove the flywheel to feed it in from inside the casing? Hi all, The main bearings in my Jumbo are growling suggesting needing new ones. Question is - do I have to split the cases to replace like the bultaco engine? Anything I should look out for whilst replacing these? Thanks in advance! Markg

Hi all in the SWM Data list at swm-moto.org the Jumbo 350 carb is listed as having a needle SX200. After asking at Dellorto there isn´t a needle SX200 listed. Can someone say what the right needle is ?
