Ive got the chance of aTX311M but don't know a lot about them. I was after a air cooled mono for our clubs pre 90 route and was after a Fantic but the Aprilia has been offered me. Can I get parts for the Rotax motor ok and are there any known problems with them as this bike has a issue with the kickstarter. Thanks

Hi, I'm looking for the air filter manifold for Aprilia TXR 312, I can't find anything for sale, do you know where to find it? It would also be useful to have a spare parts catalog or exploded views, do you know where to download it? Thanks

Hello we have revived our old 1982 Aprillia 50 trials and my son has started riding. After a carb and clutch rebuild it is running well and waiting for Milton Buzzards club to reopen. however, have a few questions we hop someone can help with: We could do with some tyres. The front is 2.5x21 which we can not find- will a 2.75 be suitable? On the rear we have a 3.0x18 as that was all we could find at the time. Think the original was 3.5 - does that sound correct? next is silencer: We are sure the rear silencer on our bike is not original and pretty noisy. Any advice on where we could find an quieter one? Anyone got pictures of an original? tha…

Here's a photograph, never published before, of a classic Aprilia in action. Taken by James Moorhouse it shows Ian Weatherill competing in the Yorkshire Centre Team trial in 1986. Enjoy - for more details PM me

Hi All, Can a spilt in the outer [foral] be repaired and can I change outers so that the repaired fork can be put on the spring side only side and use the better outer for the damping side? Thanks P.S. I have seen some reference to conventional fork conversions. Is this hassle free or do brakes, wheels [and obviously triple clamps] need changing?

I am new to the group, and own a climber 240. I am having trouble with the install of the kickstart return spring assembly. Is there someone who can help me with this? I am not sure how the retaining bolt on the bottom of the motor holds anything? I assemble the clutch cover only to start the motor and have the kickstart gear click against the clutch gear once the return spring pushes its gear out against it...... is there a utube on the install? defeated......

So further to my earlier post, I acquired a climber 280 cheap as it had been standing for a while and possibly messed about with, or stuck in a shed due to a fault. The clutch appeared seized, not a great surprise if its been sat around, so I stripped it and checked it over and all seemed good and free and clean. However, when I reassemble it, its locked solid. the clutch actuating arm moves and you can feel the springs against it, but you can't disengage it. after hours of fiddling about I tried assembling it with only 2 weak springs (cross flow rocker shaft spacing springs), and then it works ok but obviously not with the engine running. So I measured my spr…
