USA Trials Reviews & Previews

I'll be going down to Tish for the Rock Creek national (I'll be handling tech inspection for some reason) and as far as I know we will be using the new "Clubman" line. As we're the first Trial of the season, it will be very interesting as to how it works. I personally think it's a great idea and should open up competition for new riders who otherwise would not try a National event plus allow twinshocks to compete. I remember, as a noobie in the 70's, I signed up for my very first Trial at Hollister Hills in Northern California and found it pretty tough, but I did finish, sore and tired. I was told the Rose City event will be expanding the riding grounds from last year. Last years event was great! The riding grounds are unlike any other event in MOTA's circuit and the club took advantage of laying out very nice sections (off-camber, side hills, river-beds) "old school" style. With the high gas prices the two day event is nice. Now, I just have to talk my knee into it. Can we arrive Friday evening with trailers?

Taylorville Trials – Think 2013! The weather was pretty crazy on Saturday, including a brief hail storm(!) - -so I exited the truck with trepidation…we haven’t had a single puddle of mud in our extensive 5 months of trials competition in 2012. But, to my great relief, the grounds were damp and small amounts of water were in the creeks, but most of the event was mercifully dry. It was a gorgeous day in a fabulous setting to ride. The loop was wonderfully wide – much of it tractor roads up and down the shallow hills. TXTC - Texhoma Trials Club will host the 3rd Annual ScotTISH Gate Trial on Saturday, November 15 at the Rock Creek Riding area outside of Tishomingo, OK. While surfing the Florida trials website I realized that the fun in the sun will be part of the south eastern regional series. As I recall from last year one was held by florida, one by stra and one by trials inc? I can't find any info about if this is the same for this year. Does any body have any details? Group, Started a new thread as things get lost/or change the meaning of old threads. Specific to Tony's latest Blog comments: Good comments all from someone who has "walked the walk". On the difficulty of Loops. We have commented on making them more rider friendly... Something we haven't mentioned is making them more spectator friendly. After a bit of a chat with kjax, I've created this forum. It's basically identical to the one that exists in the UK Trials area and does what it says on the tin. It can be used for calendars, event previews, after-event thoughts etc. I've also created one for Canada.
