Hi, Does anyone know of a replacement petrol tank cap for a 2000 TXT, I've lost mine (not on properly and flew off while the bike was being transported) DOH! and can't buy a new one anymore. Does anything else fit or do I have to stuff a rag in the hole (only joking)

Just doing my seals on an 03 Pro. I have seen a few people with different 'dust seal' rather than just the stock part fitted, the part I'm after is the one with the circular spring that keeps the tension on the dust seal against the slider, hopefully to be more efficient than the stock part that seems to loose its seal after a while Any ideas on what it's from ?

Hi guys, I have a 2004 pro frame with a 225 engine in it, and am looking at buying a brand new frame (the latest one available). I'm going to ring Mr Hipwell tomorrow, but in the meantime wondered if anybody knew whether the tanks off the 2003-2008 pro models will fit into the latest frames (2009 onwards?) They look the same shape, just apart from the rise around the filler cap. Hope you can assist Thanks!

Just wondering if anybody knows if you can adjust the rear brake pedal to bring it higher up so it is nearer your foot? I want to start using my rear brake while riding but its too low down and i have to concentrate harder to reach it than i do on where im riding. Thanks for your help.

I'm finding the bike will "surge" after I cut the throttle. Generally just a "pop" or two, but it's enough to make the bike lurch forward just a bit. I don't think it's back fire, it's as if I just gave it a little throttle, when I didn't. Any ideas? Thanks

So I have a 1999 gas gas txt321 I just got it’s my first trials bike and I took off the clutch to have a look at it to make sure it was all sound then when I put it back together it won’t engage or disengage the clutch there seems to be no pressure at all I never messed with the master cylinder or any of the clutch side lines and it was working perfect before I messed with the clutch’s internals is there a trick to it or something I’ve never messed with hydraulic clutches before so any advise would be much appreciated

I have replaced a damaged kickstarter cover last friday, and too badly also saturerday whole they. Took a s3 one and mounted without problems, bled the system, nor worries. Untill tried to start it the kickstarter did not went smooth enough (did start and worked fine for the rest) Spend hours dismounting and mounting parts to figure out where the problem was. Without the clutch no problem, with it it was too thight. Without the crankwheel no problem, with it it was again too thight. Searching searching etc. Finally sunday morning, replaced the kickstarter spring, the cup where the spring is in. Not stuck anymore, but now the kickstarter would not grap (the…

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone can help with this, but any suggestions would be well received. I am looking for a new/good used seat for my 2001 TXT. After trawling through forums and calling dealers, I'm told they are no longer available (in any colour) and I am struggling to resolve the problem. Any ideas for a strong repair would be welcome, unless you know where there is one, preferably in the UK. I've done the zip tie trick to stop the mudguard flapping about, but it's not ideal. If anyone has used an alloy plate to bridge the two parts, how did it hold up? Thanks in advance 🤞

My old trusty '93 GT25 has one of those red plastic thermal switches mounted in the head. It does not contact any coolant just the head metal temperature. A bit of a miracle the thing lasted this long. I was informed that the factory only used this type for a few months. I purchased an inline type (Gas Gas # M01020003) that is supposed to fit somewhere in the coolant hose off the head. Problem is there is just not enough room to fit the thing under the tank. I tried 4 different configurations and the tank sets on the hoses and/or flexes the fan housing so the blades rub or willl not turn. Does anyone know of a replacement other than the one I have? Much appreciated....Jac…
