Planning on replacing all the bushings of the linkage suspension of my 2013 Explorer. I can only find a 2012 Explorer parts manual. Are all the bushings the same between 2012 and 2013 Explorers? Or should I use the part numbers from the 2013 TR280i parts manual. I compared the p/ns between the 2013 TR and 2012 Explorer and couple of the bushings p/ns are different. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello to who ever reads this. As title above i have just fitted one of these clutches to my bike and though has any one used the 1 2 3 adjustment on these. I have just used number one and fitted the cover and before i fill up with new oil wondered about these adjustments. Having to drain the new oil and take off the cover and then have a chance of damaging the gasket for no gain is a no no ergo why i thought i would ask on here. Thank you.

  6. Started by Adareacs,

I'm helping a friend of mine to rebuild his Ossa mar we have got to the point of starting it but even though it fires up ok it refuses to rev up, we have the correct needle and jet in the Amal carb but as the throttle is opened it just seems to spit out fuel from the carb and doesn't rev up. The timing is set at approx. 3.5mm btdc and the bottom end has been rebuild by an old school motor bike engineer are we missing something obvious ? Any help would be appreciated.

Chris has just bought a Tr300i and wants to replace the Footpegs. We usually Use S3 Hard Rocks but they don't seem to fit and will not flip up due to the Fingers on the bottom of the rest. Talons look right but has anybody used anything else?

I recently acquired a Pluma/Plonker that came from a high elevation. I live at about 1,000 ft. elevation above sea level and the bike runs too lean. The bike has a 24mm IRZ carb and I want to keep this carb on the bike. I know finding IRZ jets isn't very easy and I want to limit the number of jets I purchase. Does anyone know what jet sizes and needle clip position this carb came with or should have for a lower elevation? Currently, the carb has a 45 pilot and a 101 main jet. I could guess and get a 50 pilot and a 110 main, but like I said, would be nice to know more specifically without all the trial and error.

I can bring my software/interface to the Kingman World Trial if anyone needs to give their OSSA a tune. I don't know my route back up north- so a possibility I could stop by if you live on my route. Mark

I am in the process of rebuilding my TR77 and have come across a problem whilst trying to re-fit the front wheel. The hub/spindle assembly is too long to go between the fork legs, please see attached photos. The only thing I can think is that the spacer between the speedo drive and the ns bearing is too long? The spacer I have is 17.5mm long 20mm od and 12.5mm id, Ossa part no 106604 which I think is common to MAR versions as well. Has anybody got their front wheel out at the moment and if so can you please confirm the dimensions of the spacer on your bike. Thanks.

  17. Hi folks - Adrian again here with my basket case Ossa! So I went to put the clutch mechanism onto the shaft. Behind the clutch are a thrust washer and a spacer according to my Clymer manual. As always with a basket case like this - I don't have these parts, or if I do - I don't recognise them amongst boxes of irrelevant non-Ossa parts, machine tool bits and bobs, random stuff etc... I have a thrust washer that fits on the shaft nicely, but how thick should it be, and what about the outside diameter? I have no idea as to the size of the spacer, but I assume it is wide enough to ensure that the inner sleeve of the needle roller bearing is just proud of the clutc…
