Thinking of buying an ossa tr 280, are there any issues with the bike. help please

Hi, my friend tells me the new Ossa has wheel bushings rather than bearings, is this really true? Anybody know how it's working out? Thanks

I would have thought that enough people actually own a TR280 to have run into some issues or concerns by now? If so please share this with us. Best of balance. Neo

Hello all, I am tring to get my father's 1970 Plonker going again. A litle background information. While riding it, the chain came off and jammed in the side case. Damage, a broken crankshaft and a gear(4th) in the transmission. Well, I had the engine repaired by someone who deals with Spanish bikes. Now, when I go to put the bike into first gear, it seems like it is going into 3rd gear. Seems as if this is the only gear I can get it into. I can not get first. Also, when I pull in the clutch, it makes a slight grinding noise at first and then stops. Anyone have an idea what is up? Thanks

I have seen new OSSA dealership announcements and rumors online regarding who it will be, but still no specific mention of who the US OSSA importer is and the status of bike availability. Anyone know who the importer is, or are we in double secret probation.

Hi fairly new to this forum, i have just started trialing a 1974 Ossa 250 mar, and i have a few mods i would like to do so any advice regarding these mods would be much appreciated. Firstly, front suspension seems very soft,and and appear to creak a bit when riding, forks are mainly compressed when riding and dont seem to have much travel, i have put heavier weight oil in but it doesnt seem to have made much difference! i am 6'3" tall and a bit on the heavy side, at present the bars seem a bit low(renthal 3"rise) which puts all my weight over the front end, i have ordered some 6" rise renthals so this might help and then will posibly add some bar risers to get me more…

Hello, I am looking to do the upcoming Lands end trial on my 75 Ossa Mar. I will have to put lights on the bike for a full MOT. Can anyone help with some sort of simpe Wiring diagram. It currently runs with Motoplat Ignition which gives me 5 wires Black and Blue which are for the coil, But have not much idea which of the other wires to use for which lights. I have a green,red and white wires coming from the stator. Will i have to use some sort of A/C converter to stop the bulbs from blowing. I really don't want to run a battery. Any help would be great. does anyone have a wiring diagram for an ossa explorer or at least non battery bike with lights,have made a loom tested it with a battery,but dont know if I need a rectifier/regulator,nor sure of connections from stator.

I see on the front page , the results from Bootle Scrambles club show that Stephen Dixon won on a Ossa, is this the first win for the new bike?

hi ayone know about the rear brake cablefor explorer is it mk1mar 12 inch outer or mk2 15inch outer. alternativly how long are mar swing arms. thanks

I am trying to track down a bike that turned up at a Dabbers trials a couple of years ago It is a Scimitar Ossa. It was built around 1972 by Edgar Stearn nr Cambridge and was a re-framed Ossa with bespoke seat & tank. If anyone knows of it's whereabouts, it would be good to see the bike again.
