Hi everyone, I've just bought my son a trials bike to start riding & he's asked me to get one so we can go to some practice days together. I was involved in a motorcycle crash some years ago which has left me disabled. My right arm is locked at 90 degrees on the elbow so I cannot straighten one of my arms. I know the boat has sailed for competing but I would like to potter around. I was wondering if anyone knows if anyone does any disabled handlebars or some kind of adaptations to help. Thanks Simon

  2. So, I've been into classic green laning for a while on my Royal Enfield and as some of you know I've only recently bought a Montesa Cota 247 classic trials bike, I've taken it down some lanes but am yet to go to a trial with it. I will be going in a few weeks. So, I was wondering if for now my existing gear is OK? I have a budget open face road helmet that I use down the lanes, it's similar to this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIPER-RS-04-PLAIN-OPEN-FACE-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-SCOOTER-MOPED-CITY-CRASH-HELMET-/400320783636?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Helmets&var=670043912026&hash=item5d34fa6514 And I have some old black road motorcycle boots that I wear on dryer gentler l…

Anybody have recommendations for something light that protects your ribs some but doesn't cook you? Had a good one yesterday, high sided my TRS onto a parked GasGas solid bar end and a Sherco serrated foot peg. Tired of busting ribs.

Hello chaps, I'm new to trials and in need of some knee protection. I have quite bad knees for a 21 year old due to previous sports injuries . My question is what kind of knee protection do you think would be suitable, i was thinking moto-cross style trousers with built in knee pads, or just to have trials style trousers but with actual knee pads on top. As i said i'm very new to trials and are still to compete so have little knowledge on to what other riders use. I don't want to go overkill with the pads and loose flexibility, but then again i want to protect them. Any help/links/tips would be greatly appreciated

I'm just starting out, have some some old Novogar trail boots (sort of MX boots with a trials type flat sole). They're pretty stiff, will they be any good or will I need specific trials boots to get going? Ta.

Hi guys, New to the sport and just looking around at bikes. A friend of a friend is selling a 2012 Beta EVO 250 in vgc with a few bits and pieces. £2200. It’s hardly been ridden and looks mint in the pics. Does this sound about right for a 6 year old bike? Any advice would be appreciated. Jamie.

  11. Any special "treatments" for a new pair of these? Someone suggested to get them soaking wet and then wear them around until they're dry. But I'm reluctant to do that to a pair of $310 boots. And any suggestions on maintenance, mink oil, neats foot, etc.? David

Snow falling outside and my hands always feel the cold no matter how much enthusiastic I'm feeling. ....always fancied some neoprene trials gloves. I understand they won't keep my hands dry but will keep the wind and cold out. I'll probably go for a pair of Wulfsports as I've always their gear to be great value, well made and durable. would welcome some advice....ohh some help on sizing.....I usually have a large size. PS I've got some X-acting waterproof trials gloves but they are sooooo thick and chunky I cant even use them for enduros.

  13. Hi! I'm looking for trials gear, but I really don't know about the sizing. I'm a big guy, 190cm/108kg and I'm looking for gear that would fit a bit looser than your average trials gear. I have no problem finding gear from MX/enduro gear brands, as they make larger gear that fits good as well. It seems like trials gear is always in XS-XXL sizes, pants included. Any other bigger guys here, what brand do you use, and which size are you using? I guess I'm between the XL-XXL range. I think I will have more problems with the shirt sizing, not so much with the pants. I have rather wide back/shoulders, as well as some good old belly. I don't want to look like a sausage while…

Just wondered if anyone has tried one of these and what they thought.... In principle the idea seems great but none of the major manufacturers have gone this way. Cheers

Has anyone purchased and used one of the new Wulfsport Tri-Action helmets? I'm thinking of a new skid lid and this one looks good but I'd be interested in the opinion of any users. I shan't be buying without trying one on as a I know fit is a personal and important thing so no advice needed on checking fit etc, tec, thanks!

Bought some of these recently. Tested them when I rode out of a section and clipped the footpeg of a parked bike with my shin. It still hurt but no real damage. Best new product for a long time, highly recommended.
