Saw these on some of the riders at Exeter, RI this year and I'd like to check out these trials boots but I cannot seem to find the manufacturer. Wondering if anyone out there can identify them for me. Make and/or who sells them. Thanks

I need to buy boots for riding my trials bike (I'm just playing on it rather than doing comps) and I also need boots for riding on the road, Adventure Touring style. I know there might be some compromises, but does anyone know of a boot that would do both well? I need the grippy tread and flexibility for trials, but the protection and weather resistance for road.

Given my looming years, tendency to fall off and inability to fix as well as I used to I'm looking at getting chest and back protection. Looking at the protectors and how they work / are formed they all seem much of a muchness apart from pricing.... the Comas one looks great and only £59.99 whereas the Jitsie appears very similar and is £95 Anyone know if there is anything glaring that the Jitsie offers over the Comas one? (or suggest another alternative) thanks

Anybody have recommendations for something light that protects your ribs some but doesn't cook you? Had a good one yesterday, high sided my TRS onto a parked GasGas solid bar end and a Sherco serrated foot peg. Tired of busting ribs.

"Proper" trials clothing (shirt and trousers) is expensive but should be made for the job. So why does mud and chain grease not wash off easily? Does anyone have any cunning methods for keeping their riding gear looking good?

I have a Clice soft shell jacket which was bought a couple of years ago but since I only ride occasionally (unfortunately due to work commitments) it has probably only been worn and subsequently washed no more than a dozen times. The problem is the zipped parts are not stitched to the coat but heat sealed which has now come apart from the shell in several areas. Has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do to fix it. Since it is more than a year old I have tried contacting Clice directly via their website and have just been ignored. For the price paid I would have thought it should have stood up to a lot more hard work than I have given it. The after sales …
