Anyone know which are the best fully waterproof socks available? I mean normal socks NOT the socks that come with hebo/diadora boots Have got some old Alpinestar goretex ones but they are getting a bit leaky Any ideas? and where to buy from? cheers

Any special "treatments" for a new pair of these? Someone suggested to get them soaking wet and then wear them around until they're dry. But I'm reluctant to do that to a pair of $310 boots. And any suggestions on maintenance, mink oil, neats foot, etc.? David

Serious question........ whats the best way to keep the inside of your helmet clean? Is there any products to keep it fresh.

Cheaper than those piddly little cans of helmet mousse. Highly flammable! Illegal in many jurisdictions. Extremely effective. Yes I know you can buy cans of denatured alcohol much cheaper but they have acetone and methylated ketones and who knows what else to make them poisonous, well more poisonous, and I’m not sure how those additives affect the helmet materials. edit: turns out acetone is a solvent for polystyrene.

Hi there , i have used the search function but can't find any info on them. Basically what i am looking for is if anyone has them, has used them ,has seen them, are they tight fitting or not ,as they are not stocked anywhere near me but i like the look of them. I don't want anything tight fitting nor do i want anything baggy so if anyone has any info that would be great.

im new to the sport and got my first trial coming up soon. at the moment I don't own a pair of trials or any other type of motorcycle boot. I asked the club chairman if a pair of hiking type ankle high boots would be ok and he quoted me this from the acu rule book, TSR.12 clothing must cover legs and body and it is recommended that arms should be covered.boots of approximately knee length made of leather, rubber or plastic must be worn. does this mean I will get away with my work wellies (neoprene and rubber) until I get round to buying a proper pair of boots ? thanks in advance

Hi, Has anyone tried the Stylmartin impact evo trials boot? I've pretty much trashed my alpinestars, the sole has come away from the boot. I'm thinking about getting a pair of oiled Gaernes next, but wanted to ask if anyone has tried the stylmartin ones? thanks

im after some trousers that arent tight fitting / lycra based... far to old and to many bumps lol,,, are these loose / ish fitting? cheers kev

Hi, Just bought a new pair of Gaerne Balance boots in white from a shop in Stroud and got them to send them me by post. My question is,do these boots stretch or loosen as they bed in???? They are a little on the tight side,but i once made the mistake of buying a pair of Hebo's a while back that were a nice fit new,but once i had worn them a couple of times they were like a sloppy slipper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a friend of mine asked me for some advice on helmets the other day. he's been out of the trials world a about ten years and when he pulled out and dusted down his trusty nolan helmet he found the foam mites had eaten away all the padding. anyway. he asked me what budget helmets are on the market as i have a fair bit of knowledge on trials gear out there. or so i thought. the budget helmet market seems to have exploded with so many new brands with their own trials based open faced helmets. having looked there does seem to be some models out there that look similar to each other. one in particular is the wulfsport one. its reasonably priced at approx £60. i know quite a…

I've just got some Gaerne balance natural oiled boots and some duckswax to treat them with. But how often do you need to apply the wax? After every ride? And do they need treating from new?

Anyone know of any vegan friendly trials boots .. I'm struggling .. Thought maybe Gaerne Balance Classics made from Lorica but not sure Thanks Steve

I'm new to trials. I need a new tube for my front wheel. On my enduro bikes, I run Heavy Duty. What do most folks run on trials bikes? my guess is that since everything on a trials bike is light, that folks don't use the heavier tubes. Is this right?
