I've just seen the results from the recent Spanish championship round and the first 4 riders all finished "clean" after having their scores wiped because of time bonus points. The riders seem to be getting 10-20 bonus points each lap deducted from their scores for time bonuses. The top lads were dropping 5-15 actual marks a lap so they were ending up on zero. Anyone know anything about it? It seems a bit stupid to me.

The pre entries for this trial open 27/06, apparently there will be a full explanation in English this year, as " must have documents " to ride have changed from previous years, as it is being run under a new federation . I understand a full effort is being made to welcome non French riders, but as yet that's all I know. Bear in mind an entry is not deemed accepted until all relavent paper work is received and agreed. As explained on a previous thread, regarding this trial you need a three man team, or you get teamed up with other Larry no mates.....so you might spend the weekend speaking French or Spanish. Hope that helps

I have been informed that the Sardent club along with other sponsers are organising a Classic pre 65 trial the weekend of 6 th and 7 th September. It is being headlined as a trial suited to the more original bikes with sections to suit, although everybody is welcome on the understanding the trial will have traditional sections favoring the less modified bikes. As the pre 65 scene is relatively small this side of the channel, I have been asked to post this to see if it would be of interest to any British riders fancying a long weekend in France taking in the wine, sunshine and the countryside. Sardent is around six hours south of Calais, alredy hosts a very popular cla…

Fantastic 5 days in the mountains at the second edition of this trial with a few more riders from the UK taking part this year. Some success across the classes, couple of podium pics attached, Steve Farrall & Barry Roads toping the podium in their classes.

Calling anyone living and riding in France! Hopefully moving to France permanently next year, can anyone please tell me what the process and cost of getting a french trials licence is? Whilst I'm asking, my bike is UK registered, but SWMBO's 125 isn't (she also doesn't have a full UK bike licence)..... Do I have to reregister them in France to be allowed to ride and does SWMBO have to take her full bike test? Thanks in advance

On the off chance that someone reading this might want to visit this beautiful region at the end of April, and just might be able to sneak a bike onto the rack or into the motorhome, we are running for the fourth time our Classic trial. It is planned for the weekend of the 28 th and 29th. It is open to all classic classes with three routes easy, bit harder, and a little bit harder still. We will take riders on modern bikes over 50 officially, but any younger Brits wanting ride in this class, due to Brexit I will relax the rules.. You can enter on the day, you can camp on site, and if you so wish you can join us in emptying the French wine lake on Saturday evening enjoy…

Please note that due to some enviromental law changes, Robregordo has to move dates from May to autum time. The dates chosen are 3 & 4 October 2015. The bad news are that we will have to wait now 13 months untill the next edition of the trial. The good news are that Robregordo will continue going for some years to come in the new dates. Also Motoclub Sotobike will introduce some improvements. If you want to take part, please contact me by PM and the club will assist you with your entries and paddock hotel booking.

Hi! I have no idea where to put this, but I suppose this is the best place. As I suppose most of the polish riders are often checking Trialscentral.com looking for an advice or other stuff, but they have no idea that there is a polish forum (as for example me - always on TC, not knowing that there can be a polish forum ). So, I have thought that the best way of advertising it is to post it here, because the polish forum is still fresh, kind of deserted and not very well positioned on google. I hope that it gets some response http://trial-arena.org.pl/forum/ Cheers!

Last event for the German Trials Championship, held in Osnabrück (North Germany). Nice to view a longer video too with interviews with: - Franz Kadlec, - Therasa Bäumle - Ina Wilde and Gerd Bücker who is still since 1977 responsible for trials riding on the Piesberg "mountain" , so next year will be a big anniversary with stars from the 70's and 80's ... http://www.dmsb.tv/video.php?id=422
