Vertigo

  1. I have a 2022 Vertigo Nitro Jaime Busto Replica 300 that runs very rough past 1/4 throttle. First 1/4 is pretty good, idle is fine. Did it pretty much from new, bike now has 30 hours on it, and it seems to be getting worse. Past 1/4 throttle it runs very rough, repeated surging and near stalling, but only under light load. Hard acceleration is good, steep uphill is good, 5th gear on flats or slightly downhill is terrible, to the point where it nearly stalls. There's also a spot about 5000 RPM where it just doesn't run cleanly at all, lots of smoke and very rough. This bike has the lithium battery with a different wiring harness from earlier models and a 6 p…

Hi, the clutch on my vertigo combat is very firm/stiff so makes it difficult to use clutch control. Someone mentioned the springs need to be reduced in size, or lube the cable ? Any ideas on please ?

Hi all new to this group hopefully someone can figure it out? right I have a vertical r 2019 250 the bike will start and tick over soon as throttle applied bogs out, fitted new tps sensor and recalibrated with Wi-Fi.com still getting the same symptoms I’m 99% sure it’s the tps sensor I have tested the fuel pressure and is all correct! I’m falling out of love with it after spending a arm and a leg troubleshooting the problem? Initially the problem seem to occur after a trip to COWM where the bike was upside down running for no more than 5seconds bike ran all day with the problem occurring as I was going back to the van any help appreciated

After doing a ride at altitude this past weekend, now back at normal riding level I am finding my bike will just stall if sitting at idle. My partner's bike is doing the same. it's like I now always need to have a little bit of throttle on to keep the bike from dying. It also seems a little less powerful at the lower revs but that could just be my imagination. Bikes are 21 R3 and 22 JBR

Hi guys, Does anyone have a problem with an oil leak in the clutch housing? I tried to add a sealed gasket (nural 60) but it lost oil again. Oil doesn't leak immediatly, it's a next day when I see a spoot in the floor. By other hand, I sense that my clutch drags a bit when I have a gear engaged. I will try to change the position of clutch's plate to the number 2, it's recommended?

  9. I’ve had my 2017 bike from new and never had any problems - still on the original 9V battery! However, when I got the bike out yesterday for the first ride in a few weeks it would start OK but would not run smoothly. It felt as if it was running very rich, it wouldn’t rev very cleanly and then struggled to tick over. I checked the plug and it was very black. Also quote smoky when it was running. Vertgio UK weren’t sure what it was but clarified that the TPS sensor failure usually makes the bike very lean, so unlikely to be that. Am about to book it into a dealer for a check, but has anybody got any suggestions?

Hi Everyone, 2019 Vertical R and the in-tank fuel filter was a bit dirty (to say the least) Any recommendations for cleaning the injector? Will it be a problem? Does anyone use any additives successfully? Cheers

so bought a combat 300 and it seems a pig to start not at all like the description on vertigo uk website plus the kick start seems to have a very short throw and turns past 90 degrees when positioning for a kick so your foot slips off at the bottom of the stroke ! any advice on starting would be welcome i did have a 06 gasgas that you had to surprise to get it to start lol

So... I'm at a loss. It seems to me that once you disconnect the lower linkage connectors, removing the 'axle' bolts should more or less do the trick. But of course it doesn't, and I'm starting to think perhaps there's a special tool required (or maybe just a large bolt of the correct pitch) to thread into and remove the pieces that Vertigo refers to as the swingarm semiaxis. Anyone had their off?

  18. Hi. I'm a user living in South Korea. The RPM suddenly became unstable. I changed the 9v battery to a new one, but it just says that the battery is weak and it doesn't start. If I connect the external power, the engine will start. The RFM is unstable. If you turn off the external power, the engine will turn off. It's because of the negative electrode. Is it because of this? I don't remember where the cathode paper was. I'd like to know where to connect.

Last week I had a high compression cylinder head insert installed on my 250 (S3 insert). Compared it with a standard 250 of the same year (at the dealer's) and it feels much stronger and runs cleaner. So very happy with the result. The high compression is noticeable when starting, but it still starts with the first kick warm, three when cold. Strange thing is that the idle went up. Stalling it now is almost impossible, but clutch control needs some adaption. Any thoughts how idle can increase by a high compression insert?
