  1. Heres a pic of our mutt called Carlton at the trial at Nantmawr on the 5th March. Taken by Andy himself
  2. Great Job Guys 'n' Gals .. Got any pics from the event Alan?

Try and keep this on topic please boyz Bigwig, when I was talking with you at Nantmawr, you said you may ?? be looking at one for a Sherco as the tank is diddly squat on mine and regardless of just using it for a long event, I would like to use one for regular trials... Whats your thoughts? Cheers Ian

If you are interested, You can always take a look at Ross's site and on the front page there is a calendar of events he is riding this year (click on the dates in yellow). It is showing the YMSA so I assume hes riding it. http://www.rossdanby.net

My comments weren’t decrying the gasgas machine, I am genuinely interested in what gasgas have patented and any other bike manufacture come to that. I'm in the business of engineering innovation so this is of interest to me that’s all. So what are the perceived benefits of this clutch design (besides being lighter I presume)
  6. atomant replied to euan1's topic in Gas Gas
Suppose that's why there's 4 or 5 patents on the Pro's design. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And what patents are these then? and what are they for. ? I cant see anything in the design that makes it superior to any other bike.
  7. How many pictures are you thinking of? If its only a few, then the forum has the facility to upload pictures ( although you do have a limit on file size)For editing, resizing and reducing the image file size, try this free software from google called Picasa. I think its excellent - get it here. http://picasa.google.com/ Please ask again if you need further help. Regards Ian
  8. They were a bit long to be fair, mainly on the expert/extreme route. The problem was when you have so much good quality terrain to use you just want to put it in and give the riders value for money
  9. But did you hear the names he was calling me for making him go off it
  10. Elwyn, Please make the venue's car park less muddy so when I fall off like a pleb I dont end up looking like this (picture courtesy of bikespace)

I may of misheard him as it certainly looks like it would hold more than that.. No doubt bigwig or the dabster will enlighten us before too long

You forgot to mention that it also needs 19st sat on it as well

Speaking with Julian yesterday, I understand it has a 3.5 litre capacity.
  14. Thanks Jools Really appreciate the kind comments - We put a lot of effort into it and we are glad you enjoyed it I know it was a bit on the tough side but when you have terrain like that to work with, its a travesty not to use it! Heres the prelim results - Prelim Results
  15. Thank Alexz for his kind remarks. He was absolutely superb today. The spectators gathered to watch a sublime display of skill and technique and werent dissapointed. I take my hat off to anyone capable of riding those sections The sections we set out we thought would be a tough test and there was some big stuff in there. Obviously we need to find bigger rocks For those who dont know, we put on a 5th route just to cater for the top boys that were coming and the results are as follows: Alexz Wigg 5 Ross Danby 15 Tom Sagar 35 ( hasnt ridden for ages and was pretty damn good ) George Morton 57 Craig Robinson 78 Eddie Roberts retired with a blown engine I believe Buster Regan retired with a minor injury
  16. 6.20am in the morning - We have had some snow locally but dont know what it will be like on the sections? - we have got hold of some rock salt for the sections which will need it so it should be ok.. fingers crossed.
  17. atomant replied to euan1's topic in Gas Gas
Nah mate.. The bikes for riding and the wifes for fettling or is it the other way round
  18. Because of the snow we have changed a few of the sections but otherwise everything is ok for tomorrow. The extra hard route for the top lads looks to be quite popular with triple the amount of riders wanting to ride it which suprises me as its pretty damn hard! Gaz reckons the expert route is quite tasty but the green route

I have to say that its looks are stunning. It has fine lines and looks well engineered. Im definately going to test ride one when they arrive ! Any idea what they cost? and does it bloody start !!!!
  20. Whatever. I don't drink the crap! I'll have Miller in the Limo instead! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You will be drinking what yer given m'lad and be bloody grateful
  21. By the way Elwyn, I dont expect there will be many riders capable of riding that Green route we set out. I hope Andy gets some good pics of it? Cant wait to see Ross & Wiggy & Co. go up that 9ft near vertical step I remember being at the IOW and looking at the infamous WALL section that they had to change because it was deemed too hard. Christ knows what they would make of these sections At least all the normal routes are very sensible
  22. And you know the fridge in the limo should be at it's coldest setting and contain only Kristal Champagne. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kristal Champagne - do you mean cristal Well Sir Andy - I was thinking of opening some of the Louis Roederer 1985 Vintage Cristal Champagne I have in the cellar ?
  23. atomant replied to sherco 125's topic in Scorpa
