Gas Gas 05 Boiling
'Gasserboy' The Gas Gas radiator system is as simple as you'll get! Youve got a dinky radiator, water pump, thermostat (which is your problem!), Hoses & coolent. Its not going to be your radiator as there is nothing obvious from your description Check yor hoses - that they are tight, no holes, rips etc. Check your coolent level - although if it was low on coolant then the fan would cut in quickly(?), check for airleaks - p**s to bleed! On the cap of your radiator, there is a valve where the overflow hose is. Check! Doubt its your waterpump Do the most obvious one & replace thermostat as it is a coincidence that 05 gasgas's have had thermostat problems! Are you ridin the Alan on sunday? You aint got mch time!

Do you mean each lap is 10 miles!? What do you do about fueling?

Gas Gas 05 Boiling
Most of he 05's have had dodgy thermostats on the bikes have been boiling over. Best bet is to call up gasgasuk and get an '04 thermostat. If it not that then it will be your water pump, or you've got air in the system

2004 Outdoor Video?
The UK's CJB vids are always good! 3Hrs review of most of the Nationals and Clubmans nationals, good viewing! Duke are just the ones they show on Eurosport and they are not showing trials in a good way. Trials.tv DVD's are tops. Your right, the Dulluth review is smashing and they're cheeper than Duke.

Gubian Replica.
a lot aswell depends on your size! someone said it doesnt hold Alexz Wigg back. The thing is, theres a difference between 2 & 4 stroke and also that Gas Gas aint Standard!!! You just gotta take into acount the sections you are doing, your weight etc. at the end of the day, its personal preference! Have a ride on a few before you commit yourself

Gubian Replica.
The little 4T is a great bike to ride, great fun. If you just ride club trials, go for it! Would'nt suggest it though if you ride nationals. Loris gubian at Hawkstone 2004 euro was going up some big stuff on his! And it reved The grip they get is amasing. Just remeber tho, its a 125/175 4 stroke. If your an expert, yu might get fed-up!

Rubbing Silencer
sounds like a plan! Thanks for the excellent suggestions! Honda RS, I'll apply your suggestion next time the brackets break, which will probably be very soon Where the top bracket is on the mid-box (top bolt on the silencer) the original bracket just descintigrated and I had a solid block of Alu welded on and drilled it. Perhaps its sumthing to do with that? Thanks again

Rubbing Silencer
Thanks for that! but i've already done those things you suggested. i was wondering weather anyone had made a bracket or something for the inside of the silencer. It happens everytime. i've put clear plastic sheeting (really good stuff!) on the back but it keeps wearing through and the silencer is near worn through

Rubbing Silencer
Gas Gas Pro riders Anyone got suggestions as how to keep the silencer from rubbing on the tyre? just they are easy to pull out but they bend back in again & rub! It's running the standard '04 set-up (alu mid-box & normal Silencer) but there must be ways to prevent this? Also, the welds are not broken as i have just had it re-welded. Someone out there knows! Or is it just my bikes Any ideas appreciated, thanks

Lets Talk Wet !
Generally, the airboxs were actually good on those Gasers. As r2w suggested, use Copper grease arond the edge of the lid and if you want, get busy with the Duct tape! u should'nt need to do this on those Gassers. They lost the plot with the 02 Pro & has improved steadily since. But urs will be sound with some maintenance & experience

Stu, They are a bit like wot Freestyle motoxers used to wear but now, they just tend to wear jeans and hoodies. FOX & SHIFT make them, XC-ting are the only company that tend to make them in a well known trials name, they are called 'Tophill'. any motox clothing shops will have them. they're sound, you can get loads of designs- Gg 2005 300 Problems Starting
My dealer warned me about this when I was thinking about buying me 300. And it was a ba***rd to start, a proper ball ache! Someone said the reeds are toght when they are new, I whipped some new ones in and it starts first kick everytime and has'nt missed a beat! But, at the same time, it should not be down to the customer to rectify the problems! It should be dealt with before they are released. The kickstart problems happened on most of the early '05's!- Gas Gas 300 Rr
Apparently - more power!! and that little re-map switch on the bars. I had a go on the new one at the weekend and when you switch it to the cloud (sun and cloud symbols on the switch) the revs pick up very slightly and flattens it of, but its hardly noticable! Reckon that will be on all the production bikes next year. personally, I'm just gonna hard wire it What do ya think so far Spud???- Indoors/outdoors!
I can Understand the last section being man-made, coz there is a dodgy rule that the last section has to be a certain distance from the start/finish area (talking metres) But five sections!? As trialsrfun said, the 'lesser' riders will not be suited to that type of section coz the top six riders have ridden the indoors all winter! plus the spanish have a indoor series of their own.- Oil Change
No, always ran them on that. they've been spot on! Do whatever - Back Firing Scorpa
