  1. WOW ! real pre 65 bikes !!!
  2. Absolutely BRIIIANT !!!! LOL !
  3. http://www.mid-atlantictrials.com/Sales.html The've sorted a few out quite well from what I've been told.... I've got alot of time in my son's reflex carb , with jewlers drill bits etc. But the stock carb can be set up to work good , Just takes some time , And all my notes on the work are on a dead computers hard drive .... I need to get alot of info off that old machine ... Glenn
  4. There are all kinds of petcocks that will work , but for the correct one contact Mike @ the trials shop or Bill pye in the UK . On my 97 , I thought the petcock was the worst design feature of the bike ... But it was a great bike to ride ! Glenn
  5. Here's a local one ..., Bike is a blast to ride ....http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/47387-new-bike-in-the-shop/ Have fun , any and everything is out there ... Glenn....
  6. I just looked through the photo's of Day one ... And as usual Bou has that grin of his on , Not the look of terror/concentration seen on the other faces , He just always looks like he's having FUN !!!!
  7. probably about the same , but try them on if you can , I seem to remember needing a larger size size on my Airoh , compared to my previous lid ...But next to my custom Shoei road racing helmet bought in the 80's , the best helmet EVER !!!.
  8. Well I just have to chime in here ...my trusty 240 pro became a different bike when in may 05 I changed the rock hard mich. Dated 10/92 for a fresh one, may have been the OE tire ... But even at 2.5 psi it had NO sidewall flex & about zero traction . A new old stock mich. and it was a different bike . And I can't explain the difference a new x-light made on my old section over the old OE tire .......
  9. Just Machine grunge IMHO ! clean it seal it and do another 50 hrs ... No engine is spotless inside , and that one looks pretty clean to me... Glenn
  10. I've seen pro's lose it because of a wet log ... It gets worse every loop of a a event . And it doesn't take much moisture to turn a dry small log into a greased pole across your path ........ Glenn
  11. In learning the technique , wet or dry makes a massive difference ! I've seen more than one pro class rider crash because it was wetter and slicker than thought .... It doesn't take much moisture to turn a dry small log into a greased pole ! Just say'in ! and if it's in a section at a event , it's worse every loop .... Glenn

    Trs

That would kinda mess up your focus .......
  13. Wet or dry is also a major factor in angled logs ...
  14. I have gotten a jeep out of the desert with pee in the master cylinder ... and vise grips on the rear brake hose to stop the leak from the artfully ripped off rear brake pipe . Fluid is fluid , in a pinch .......And we were outa beer ! Glenn
  15. Yes STRA is still quite alive and well , But www.twinshock.org may be more to your liking ...Old school trials riders , riding old school bikes , having a grand old time ! Glenn And don't worry what it looks like , just get out and ride her ... You should've seen this one when I got her in 05' !
  16. Boy , with a color scheme like that , someones gotta know that Fantic! Have fun with it , Best twinshock trials bike ever ! (IMHO)...the engine # is on a machined pad on case below the carb . Glenn
  17. http://www.fanticmotor.asso.fr/r02_f28.htm Thats all the info I could find quickly !
  18. So I take it the event was like the day's past ... When the loop was a enduro and the sections were welcomed rest stops ??
  19. The Vid I saw of Fuji GAS was epic to me .... I ride old school basically no stop , And Fuji's bike control and execution was beyond belief ! He had his bike turned and stopped mid air for his next move !!! When he hit the top he relaxed and rode his line ! Fuji : one old guy to another not so old , YOUR THE BOMB !!!! Glenn PS. , I wish the vid I just watched again , didn't have the slow mo segment ... Takes away from what he did . IMHO ..........
  20. Contact Tony 283 , he has the coolest/best riding R.E. Bullet I've ever seen and ridden . He can tell you what to do and what not to do .... (And His bike is BEYOND TRICK ) Glenn
  21. Hate to be rude BUT !!! if you don't know what you need to do the job , or the experience to do it , save your self alot of frustration and money and pay a pro to do it ! That way you'll be able to ride the bike again !
  22. ! Well all I can add to that is my trusty 240 pro goes ring .....ding ....ring....ding . And fine carb setup gives me the ability to go WFO from idle in 1st or 2nd and loop the bike .And she will rattle along at idle in in 1st or 2nd and do full lock turns as long as you want .I'm a old school NO -STOP rider , so that is how my bike is tweeked . Almost the only time I use my clutch in a section is to clear the ngine for a big hit if need be. And tell them guys to sharpen their graphite ! Glenn
