  1. This is the best TRIALS site there is !!! Thanks Andy ..........................
  2. Lots of air pressure and volume .. Take the valve core out , And try a tie down strap around the tire , along with some soapy water .
  3. I hate when that happens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hot Gasgas

Your water pump seal let go ... Fix that and try it out , or just pull the cylinder and inspect ... but the water pump is the most likely culprit ....
  5. Looked like a great day out on some real nice bikes !
  6. Never needed anything but my finger tips ... on a two stroke that is . I think Lineaway hit the crux of the problem ....!
  7. If it's a forward kick 200 (pro) GET IT ! If its the rear kick 200 ride it and see if you like it , Both versions are great , but they are quite different ... Every thing from the chassis to the brakes .The pro is considered by many to be the best out of the box twinshock ever , with the minarelli 200 a close 2nd.... And Mike @ the trials shop in Locke NY. can take care of all your parts needs too . He's still got a wealth of fantic info and parts . , along with Bill Pye and Bob Wright in the UK . And don't forget Bob at B&J in Tenn. , he still has a few tricks up his sleeve ... And the MX'er thing relates a little more to the 240 me thinks , when running correctly they will pull from down low as a trials bike should , and still have a serious hit in the powerband about 2/3rds of the way thru their rev range .. Seldom needed , but it's there if you want it They do respond very well to good throttle control.

  10. I'd have to agree , thats about flat wore out ....
  11. All the best , And we expect a world champ offspring ......... And damn I just read the beginning of the original post by lee that started all this ... He's married now with a really cute daughter , and my 3 kids are just about all grown up ! I've got to get to Germany and use one of Lee's Fantics so we all can go out for a ride someday .
  12. As far as I'm concerned ..., only if you can't modulate your back brake good enough to keep from stalling or skidding , But I have used it on STEEP down hill turns ! Like all trials it depends on the section ....
  13. It is a TRIALS BIKE , ya know , made to turn really sharp , at will ... Kinda twitchy at speed too ?? On edit , unless your head stock brgs, or front wheel brgs are totally knackered , kinda the way they are ....
  14. Wheres Her BOOTS !!! Best of luck to you two ... 'nough said !
  15. A steel BB is better than nothing....
  16. I don't care exactly how (bike tech) he did it , but come on ,A 37 MILE WHEELIE !!!! The physical strength/endurance to do it under any conditions is unbelievable !!!! DOUG IS THE MAN !!!

    Testing Injector

Wurth products makes a connector cleaner/lubricant that works great on small connectors . CRC makes a electronic parts cleaner that works good too . Sorry I don't know how the pump is controlled , but you may be able to power it up completely disconnected from the bikes wiring , To prevent any short back to the bike . And get your fuel pressure that way , or if there is a fuel pressure check mode , it should hold enough residual pressure to fire the injector one or two times if your quick ....
  19. Don't let him kid you , He's really into TY80's , The 175's are a handful for him .... And B&J Racing in Tennessee http://www.bjracing.com Will have all the info you need ! Bob's got a strange attraction to all things TY and vintage and is the founder of the I.T.S.A. ..... And a pretty dam good rider too !
  20. Hi; You can't go wrong with either yamaha for a twinshock trials bike . Both are robust ,reliable and simple ... And any part you need is still readily available .Just keep them simple and enjoy yourself . Glenn
  21. Your reed valve block is on the cylinder side of the intake flange , If it's not there , I'm pretty sure the motor would not run well , if at all ....
  22. Just scroll down the list of fantic posts , there are more than one posts on dellorto's .....
