try closing the spark plug gap to approx. 0.35mm I am assuming you have tried a NEW spark plug
  6. You may get some better answers if you post a birds eye photo on this forum.
  7. What colour is the plastic that surrounds the fuel cap ? It looks like it may not have been modded.
  8. I believe the fibre clutch plates that look like that were made by " hoerbiger "
  9. Find the parts book you need online ( this took me less than 5 minutes ) figure out what part numbers you need, then search for each part by number This is not the easiest but you should find what you need. Good luck.
  10. Lemur, I hope you heal up quickly. Cheers Reggie
  11. One thing I would check is after you put the float bowl back on to the carb, make sure you can hear the float assembly rattle when you shake the carb it is possible to have the float assembly to hang up on the overflow tube
  12. reggie replied to honda65's topic in TRS
Tech supposedly makes a shock to fit the Gold model TRS
  13. Do you mean kick start idler gear ? FYI there are not a lot of engine parts shared between the Evo 4t and Evo 2t
  14. I have it on good authority that the fork seals fit.
  15. I am pretty that there was not a 300cc GasGas in 2001
  16. Take the clutch lever off and see if the issue persists.
  17. Those parts do spin, but usually not easily. I believe these are the same forks as were on the Beta Zero / Gara from 1991 to 1993. I am pretty sure they were also on some GasGas bikes in 1993.
  18. Take off the header pipe off and measure the bore 72.5mm for 250 if my memory is any good
  19. reggie replied to BillTEXAN's topic in Yamaha
I believe the stock carb for the 1974 TY250 was a Teikei Y26P
  20. You could use a throttle from the Beta RR 300 enduro bike.
  21. There are some Ossa Mar bikes with points.
  22. The CDI box for this bike is p/n M04016000 there is a black wire that comes out of the CDI that is supposed to be connected to a chassis ground. I do not see your CDI box in this picture. to the best of my memory the CDI box is approx. 70mm long x 15mm x 15mm there are 2 x 3 wire connectors going to it, one on each end. Good luck.
  23. If you have a kill switch wired in remove it and check spark again. Check the condenser, sometimes they can become a dead short. Good luck.
  24. I remembered this when relooking at your forum post. The original Motoplat ignition has part of the CDI unit in the Stator and the rest of the CDI unit in the HT coil. PVL makes a replacement HT coil that should work if the stator is still good. I believe that Rex's Speed Shop sells this replacement PVL replacement HT coil.
  25. The item shown in the top picture as " Regulator " is the rectifier.
