    2 Stroke Mix

For me ?..I've always used 75mL of oil to 5L of petrol in all my bikes, with no problems..ever ......I should have said that's using fully or semi synthetic, any brand
  2. They are taking shape.........
  3. Oi Packy,try this:- http://www.shercousa.com/pdfs/sherco_ignition_timing_guide.pdf
  4. Welcome to Trials Central, for any queries, like yours, it's best to do a quick search in the Sherco forum...I think Copemech has done a good write up in the past. Wayne
  5. Take the flywheel off and advance the ignition...you'll soon put it back where it was (IMHO)
  6. I'm sure I saw a Laurel and Hardy film where they put a raw egg into the rad to stop it weeping? Are you wanting to repair the structure of the rad or bung the leaks with a 'rad-weld' additive ? If you choose the easy option of the additives ;remember ,our little radiators don't have much in the way of extra capacity on our little trials bikes There is a heat resistant epoxy resin http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EPOXY-RESIN-HIGH-HEAT-RESISTANT-GLUE-CAST-FIBERGLASSING-/310219575780?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483a8711e4#ht_39269wt_932 to seal the top (or bottom) tank to the matrix.......... or if the fins have ruptured you could use Durafix http://durafix.co.uk/ I found out about the epoxy after I had paid for a repair to be done at a radiator refurb' company Wayne
  7. I have a gap in my education, can you help...what does it mean? P.S. I liked the Marzocchis, they gave a sturdy feel to the front end

    315R Identification

A 2001 should look like this:-
  10. Staying with the 'Sweaty-Sock' theme, here's the one and only occasional where I can tolerate the bag-pipes:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9iOk8PqkKs
  11. http://www.telegraph...land-cover.html I can hear it now:- 'Wrrr al doooomed Captain.' Wasn't it Scotland's failed attempt at becoming a world player that brought them to the union in the first place? http://en.wikipedia....i/Darien_scheme Discuss.......
  12. Good work that man....I wonder if Andy would pin this for future reference?
  13. So just to put an end to the trials-rumour..Paoli are still open for after sales business? Yes/No?
  14. Note this down....I agree with the Dabster Lots of clutch slippin' and knees needed, something that the young 'uns revel in but us adults can't be ar5ed with. Ultimately though, you need to try before you buy.
  15. Hmmm.yes,as I get older I seem to get more bored with things and I seem to be stuck in my own personal 'ground-hog' day.
  16. Calm yer pants m'lady...some fellas get vey airiated where Sharon's concerned! Is this the interview you're quoting? http://www.live-meta...temptation.html...go to the 12th yellow question. Anyway back to the 'bunch of athiests' thing...are you a free thinker or do you believe in the supernatural?
  17. Nay lad..it's literal translation is 'Holy Spirit' Taken in context together, "Sanctus" is the acclamation translated as "Holy" found at the opening of the Eucharistic prayer in Roman Catholic Church. "Sanctus"/"Holy" is a reference to the seraphic hymn of Isaiah (Is 6:3) which is also seen in the heavenly liturgy of Revelation (Rev. 4:8). I can't believe that lil' ol me (athiest ,progressing to anti-theist) is handing out god bothering advice So just to make sure that I balance out the argument here's a bloke that I'm still mourning:
  18. Sounds like a bargain, can you reveal your seller/source? Cheers, Wayne
  19. I'm not happy, my girlfriend has accused me of being a stalker ! Well, she's not exactly my girlfriend...yet
  20. There was a good photo strip down on here a while ago but it looks like it's been deleted from the archives. The Sherco 1 piece silencer has 2 chambers, 1 of stainless wool packing and the other of fibre-glass type packing. On my first Sherco 2001 I paid good money to have it opened, re-packed and welded back up but the heat from the welder knackered some of the packing and the result was very poor. A guy on here did a pretty job on a SWM exhaust by fabricating an inspection/closure plate..I think that's the way to go but it's a lot of work.
  21. Yup, confirmed.A mate of mine in the car accessories trade bought a cheap one, for events, which wouldn't stand up in a breeze and he had to wait for the wind to stop blowing before he could pack it away.It was the flimsy scissor action arms that were the problem.
  22. Okeedokee, how many times have we seen ,in the shallow music business, bands using their fame to promote their own fashion label/perfume/aftershave etc? Not this lot, they chose to highlight what a lucky escape we Europeans had from the 'coming storm'. Our solemn hour.....I think I'm getting obsessed. Here's an live musical arrangement...and a half :-
  23. Belter! I poured a lot of money into the pub video box with this one...and everyone knew not to disturb me for 4 minutes while it was on. Talk about 6 degrees of separation: this song was covered by HIM,whose same chords were used in Within Temptation's 'Faster' track...there you go, full circle. Copey, you've cost me some money 'cos I got an 'ear-worm' from the WT videos you've highlighted so I had to get their Album......I'll try and dig out the track which starts with a Winston Churchill speech! (I 5h1t you not!) then adds a full choir (Pa'Dam?) and is backed up by the Metropole Symphony Orchestra

    2011 Kickstart

He's right, it's not worth weakening the casting...if you really must mess about with it ,I seem to remember wire-locking 2 or 3 rubber grommets into the little grooves on top of the kick-start. I'm not taking the peepee about boots, some have a smooth patch in the 'arch' which is no good at all.
