I haven't got my finger on the pulse when it comes to bike values/buying trends but a couple of years ago my personal circumstances were going to take a change for the worse and trials (05-290 Sherco) would have to take a back seat ( cue violin music ).I reckoned I wouldn't lose out much if I were to keep a hold of my bike until I saw light at the end of the tunnel.
Looking at the current second hand bike prices and conditions now I might have made the right call..(for once in my life).
I've seen this done many times..looks a bit Frankenstein but works well.
I seem to remember putting a spacer between the exhaust hanger and the frame to move the silencer 'out-over'.
