Forget the inner tube idea, riding a modern trials bike with a rear inner tube on-board is like riding with 50psi in the tyre = no grip/feel. Buy a new rim tape after you've surgically cleaned the rim ...also check your spoke tension. IMHO Wayne

I've got a bit of a cheek telling someone else to practice what I can't be 4r5ed to do mesel but.......practice your wheelies and 'kill' the front wheel rising by applying the rear brake. That should calm your eebie-jeebies when you think you're gonna' flip it. The big lads(not me) can use that technique to go past the vertical ..safely.
