  1. Dabster is the man on this subject. I struggled like hell the first time. I found the problem was that I had unequal tension around the tape. Once you have the tape under both lips you need the feedback the excess tape towards where the tape is in tension. You may need to do this incrementally by pushing a bit of tape very near to the area that is in most tension and work around. Picture it like this, find the bit of tape that is most in tension, put this in the 12 O
  2. Think about this, you have changed the CDI and Rectifier, were they both broken or was it just one and you changed the other by mistake? If they were both broken and they've gone again, why? Very unlikely that you got two duff units in a row, but it could happen I suppose. I would speak to NB and ask if you can have a CDI and Rectifier on sale or return. Try each one in turn and see if the problem goes away. If it does with one and not the other then you may have got unlucky and got a duff one, speak to NB and see if he'll let you have a bit of discount, explain why. If it takes both to solve it then I would be looking at a problem deeper within the bike, i.e. something on the bike is causing these two items to fail. I realise this won't help you as to what part but the next step to go to is 'which is it most likely to be?', you might want to get an auto-electrition to help.

I enjoy riding the 350, I found the engine to be very torquey (Sp?). Its awaiting some TLC at the moment, I think it would be a shame to turn it in to a 250 when there are still loads of them in the uk.
  8. I agree, this carb issue is crap!

Hughesy is spot on, I do have one. From what I understand it was privately imported by someone. I was told that this bike took part in the first arena trial in America but how treu this is I couldn't say.
  10. Well I've done the mod and noticed two things. Firstly, the bike seems much sharper? Secondly, it still leaks fue, although not as bad. Now it just seems to leak small amount and then stop.
  11. So when you say lever you mean the whole assembley, as in the resi?
  12. Astars, both pairs! Sent the first pair of as the welt had come away, they got repaired FOC so happy with that. Second pair (which are slightly different) have just done the same!
  13. Do you drop your anchor in poo bay? Been up the chutney escalator recently? Don't suppose you frequent Strassa Chocolatar do you?
  14. Must have money to burn! Bought a pair of Diadora (Sp?) Stone just after the 05 SSDT to replace my AStars, they've lasted much better at about half the price. I agree they're comfy though.
  15. And what about the little tab that sticks up on its own? Whats this then?
  16. Trying to follow this guide but I'm struggling. How do I set up the tangs? The guide doesn't say, do I have to bend them?
  17. Do you drop your anchor in poo bay?
  18. Found the set up info by doing a search on TC. I'll post a link on a new thread for those that might want to know.
  19. Had two pairs, they don't last. I won't be buying them again.
  20. Filmed in Aviemore that, about an hour south of me. Not many folk can say that Aviemore is south eh?
