I've experimented with tyre pressures lately and gone down to 3psi in the rear. What I've found is the extra spread of the tyre has helped me with my balance! Just experiment and see what works for you.

i havent got round to purchasing and fitting a fuel filter yet. im having enough bother trying to keep it rideable. everytime i fix something, i find another problem. im starting to fall out of love with it. if it keeps up with being the money pit that it has been then it can go fuk itself and ill part ex it for a newer one.

if you want disappointing stickers then stick some Beta ones on it.

ive put a new water pump kit in mine this weekend too. the shaft on mine (oooooh err missis) has grooves worn in it. as a side note i filled it with putoline light. clutch rattle much noisier, but nice gear operation, and finding neutral is better.

i pressure wash or hose pipe all the shít off mine then WD40 my chain before putting it away. then ill go back a day or two later and lube the chain with proper chain lube. thats the only thing i do religiously after a ride. every now again i will use something like truck wash and a paint brush and give it a damn good clean in all the nooks and crannies. depends on how shabby the bike is looking.

is it just me that likes both. i like to watch somebody tear up a banking or river with out stopping but also like to watch jumps and wheelies with some hopping and bopping. its all impressive as far as im concerned.

buy him a clipic if you can find one. they are 4 speed manual if my memory serves. . . cheap to buy. let him learn on it and wreck it. then buy him a beta / gasser when he can ride tidy
