Split the waterpump cover, thought it possibly happened at Ba House but he didn't realise until going over the moor to Gorton. Couldn't locate a replacement cover & his liquid metal refused to set.
Kinnel was sighted in PF this afternoon, allegedly.
Sorry but he was excluded on Monday, he's been riding as a non award since. Long way to come to find out how hard it is to ride a trials bike round Scotland, others have done it before & I'm sure there'll be more in future years.
On a 4rt you can take the swinging arm out & it's then possible to push the bearings out using a couple of sockets & a vice. Dunno if this works on a Sherco as I've never had to do one.
My adjustable spanner (cheap 22mm size but ground out to go on 24mm) has the front axle stubby allen key welded onto it. I have one of these http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/pro-39-8-pce-tx-tamper-proof-bit-set standard screwdriver / hex bits fit the tool. Beware there's some cheapo ones on ebay that break when used.
When two of you are stood on a back wheel attempting to use 2 of these spanners to straighten a sprocket I can confirm that they bend quite easily. When used as a tyre lever they work fine.
Money no object I'd have a 4rt for my marking out / training bike, it'd have to be altered a fair bit from out of the box though. You'd never see me ride it in a Trial as I'd plumb for a 2 stroke every time & that would include the SSDT.
Glen's 100% right, they'll see him in PF morning & night plus maybe a couple of times a day. If they don't ride the same pace across the moors they'll not see each other that often either.
