Don't think 'roughly' is what he wants.

I believe that you are governed by your country of origin, so that if you need to be 17 in England you need to be 17 when you ride abroad. I know that the IOM isn't strictly abroad but in terms of road law I think it is. Nigel Crellin rode & finished the Scott at 16, to the best of my knowledge. I also think that Spaniards have ridden the SSDT at 16.

Aye, just stop eating pies for the winter, it'll be cheaper on two counts.

I'm not really sure, it's probably what is available at the time, one of the committee works for the company who provides the material. As far as I know we've used blue, red & black in previous years, it's probably been discussed at times but I can't remember. We've used red / blue in the 3 day to differentiate between riding the hard & easier routes, we've then used a yellow board to indicate the leaders as per the ssdt. I think we've always felt that light numbers on a darker board stands out better than black on white.
The material used is as per the riding number boards we all buy without the clear bit to take a card number. Breakages are rare.

Nah, he's too busy talking *****.

very sad to see that there's no Colonial on the list.
-
No & no but I'd be willing to backtrack on anything I may previously said on the quality of the Sherco product as long as AG allows me to ride his 250 demo round Scotland for the first week in May, obviously this would enable me to prove the products fantastic quality.

He'll be able to pull out that old Sherco fleece of his............probably wont fit him

So will it be a 250 or 290 for the Dabster?

Are you in denial about the Montesa / HRC years, they simply did not happen, did they?
-
Weather has been mostly dry this week, although bitterly cold at times, I was glad that I'd got home before it hailed on Tuesday though. Moors are generally dry & the water levels are low. Becks have gone very green though in the last two weeks.
-
The guide which I've provided on here for several years now has been updated & included in the programme this year. A guide to each section & four aternative routes for the day are included. We've been mucking about with petrol check locations this year & they've been made non accessible to spectators / support teams. The locations do not appear in the programme.
-
As we went round the Grouse Moor the other day we were discussing how a Google Earth update would have been handy for the riders. The Observer books for each section have their location printed on them for emergency use, the Fell Rescue also has this information.
-
have you seen the near new one of these on ebay? always a solid bike, with a good motor.
-
It's not a race don't gear your bike up.
Flagging started yeterday, moors are a bit wetter than a few weeks ago but still fairly dry & theer currently isn't an awful lot of water in the becks.

Is it right you can pick a true East Anglian by the fact he has six fingers?
