New To The Forum
Welcome to TC. If you are building based on a specific bike then create your topic in the forum for that type of bike that's where you'll get the most help from those that know that make. Otherwise put it in General Trials Talk. Oh, and remember to include pictures. They like pictures on here

Txt200 Cylinder Head
Any topic of this nature, I subscribe to and watch the replies. The poster did not ask "does anyone have" so there are perfectly legitimate replies such as "Have you tried XYZ Trial breakers" or "ABC dealer has/had old stock" etc. What is not acceptable is for a dealer themselves (unless a specific advertiser on this site) to tout for trade.

Fujinami
Fuji jumping is on Saturday. Bou's crash was on Sunday after they closed the "cheat" line.

Full-Sized E-Trials
EM have a presence at the World Championship riding the 125/International route. There were a couple in Andorra last weekend and another two here in Lourdes this weekend. If/when it gets to three riders then there will be a podium specifically for electric bikes. They can't half nip on, but are a bugger to photograph because you can't hear them rev to prep yourself like you can with trad bikes.

Pol Tarres Retires From Trial
He had a big crash on Sect 17 in Andorra (and I mean BIG crash). He was lucky to walk away from it.

Protection Vests

Who Was The Oldest Rider In This Years Scottish Sdt
-
Is Dougie Lampkin The Most 'complete' Trials Rider ?
Cabestany rode in 2010 and finished 9th. Helluva difference between Scotland and what the Spaniards are used to riding.
-
10Th Title
They sent the full factory truck from Spain to Scotland complete with mechanics. That doesn't come cheap. This is rapidly going off topic, so going back to Mr. Lampkin: Most SSDT wins Youngest winner and now we believe oldest winner too.

Lift From Ssdt Required
Received this as a news article, but it's not really appropriate for the news section of the site so: I am looking for a lift home on Monday 2 from the last group of sections in the trial - presumably Lagnaha - to South Manchester or a railway station in Lancashire from where I can catch a trian to Stockport. Obviously I'll share the cost. If you can help, please phone me asap on 07928 171429, Mike Edwards.

Route Of Pre 65 & Sddt
I've got the go-ahead to publish this year's routes on the SSDT site on Monday so the info will be there for those coming up later in the week.

Pick up a programme from the car park when you get there, but Pipeline is Saturday with first rider due around 10:50

Route Of Pre 65 & Sddt
Routes aren't being published in advance this year to encourage visitors to buy programmes (which are sold in aid of charity). I blame those tight Yorkshire folk Monday SSDT route is similar to normal though - Leanachen in the morning and Lagnaha in the afternoon.

Pre 65 Times
Looking at the Friday route, you'll be able to pick up sections on your way into Kinlochleven, but the odd numbered riders should have pretty much passed by noon and even numbers aren't due there until around 1:30 so, depending on when you arrive, possibly time for a spot of lunch (and pick up a programme) in Kinlochleven then head back out the south road. Some of the sections are pretty close to the roadside so are easily spotted.

Stafford Auto Trial
If you're busy, just email results file to news@trialscentral.com and I'll sort the rest. That's actually easier for me too because of the way I now handle results files. They're all imported into one big database which I'll make public once I've completed backporting the 4000 or so historic results files I've got.

Make Perce Ride The Scott
Some of you will know James Percival of the Richmond area. Percy hung up his boots a while back and it would be fair to say, has somewhat let himself go (ie tubster ) Now, Percy's two daughters (both student nurses) are doing the Great North Run this year to raise funds for Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) with a sponsorship target of £500. Silly Percy has said if they can raise £1000 then he'll ride the 2016 Scott Trial, so with the power of the Interwebs I'm going all out to help them reach that target. Any sponsorship, no matter how small will help greatly in making the fat lad suffer come October Justgiving Link

Stafford Auto Trial
Front page now Generally any delay in publishing on TC is only a matter of a few hours. I'm informed when a new article is added and publish as soon as possible. I'm not going to get into the pros and cons of Facebook, mainly because I can't think of many pros There's no doubt it's in decline though and sooner or later will go the way of MySpace, Bebo et al
