  1. http://www.bsaotter.com/gary_britton__number_three..html
  2. Yes Woody, a mate may be interested in it but unsure about it, that is reason for my enquiry, the pic of bike is not the best
  3. Has anyone here got a picture of a Jim Susan C15 frame or bike ?? Trying to find info for a mate. Thanks in advance
  4. Sorry Jon I can't help with your request but wondered if this may be a hint at you finally seeing sense and coming over to the dark side ??
  5. Not well promoted or advertised as in other years. Website is out of date. Expensive to enter .
  6. WD40 sprayed around the inlet manifold would do same trick.
  7. One thing we did work out the frame is a Rob Homer style frame ( not Robs frame) .
  8. You're probably right, if they dropped the red paint and knocked out a pre 65 pattern set up like the REH but at a sensible price .
  9. I have Rex's piston and it is fine, also I have a low 2nd gear set and again no issues, rarely use it but have done. I am in the process of sorting another engine which will again have the low 2nd and a higher top as I want to do road trials and have a ride in the Manx later in the year. There is a Yamaha clutch conversion which I will be using but can not report on its performance as I haven't used it yet. Apparently the con rod kits need work to be able to use. I am using a reconditioned rod and new pin , the rod is machined (if it is usable) and o/s bearing used with new pin. PM me on FB if you want a contact to get this done. You may want a brass weight that goes behind the ignition on crank. PS. Welcome to the dark side.......
  10. Pre 65 has gone down a road where it is becoming ridiculously expensive if you get carried away, which is easily done . There are still some home built bikes out there which don't break the bank and are usually " work in progress" or you could go and buy an off the peg ready to ride 2015 pre 65 bike if money isn't an issue. Either depends on your ability or size of your bank balance

    4Rt Copies?

Just the job for the new Twinshock championship in the a/c mono class.
  12. Dropped a bol**** here, just started road trials this year, we had to move our club trial date and found out it clashes with this trial. I can't move again, if we had plenty of helpers I would skip it and ride but as always they won't be fighting to help.
  13. Jon I forwarded results to you
  14. Surely it's only the nationals that need to get their classes in order and add a specials class , I know our club Herefordshire classic trials club wouldn't have any problems with the Cub. If I hadn't got too many things on the go I'd knock one up myself. I have seen a couple of these in trials and they are a cracking bike. If every club had a specials class then there wouldn't be all the bickering. Yes you can buy a twinshock for less than 1k but you can also build a special, spend money with various businesses and suppliers and therefore spread your money a bit wider. Look at the cottage industries connected to the Pre 65 game.
  15. Jims weight is sensible money, I have just ordered another in the last hour for another engine. I have electrex ignition on mine as well, I believe the only difference is the electrex will work on lower rpm.
  16. Put it on Photobucket, or send to me via FB, I'll post it, and interested to see it.
  17. It can be ridden but for no points. I think the ACU have already upset the cart with a 50 frame build law ??
  18. Who's upset the cart now Charlie? Jon was on one at the Twinshock trials ch/ship on Sunday, I did notice he wasn't in the running for points,( looked at results, I wasn't there). I am guessing it was his forks ?? Maybe I have missed something.
  19. To fit straight in would be Triumph tiger cub, with some work will be a set of 35 mm forks and yokes , say MZ, OSSA, or what have you, with a bit more work would be some trick forks, depends on the budget . There are pre 65 forks and there are pre 65 forks.
  20. After a trial before they have been cleaned would be good. Of course after you have stomped across the showroom in dirty boots.
  21. Yes , I have a swb Caddy 06 reg, will take 2 bikes at a push , both need to be corner to corner and 2 nd bike needs to go in backwards, it is a squeeze though. I have had 2 x twinshocks in mine , modern bikes shouldn't be a problem. A maxi would be easier to fit straight in. Good vans like a car to drive. Headroom is tight in the back, they are lower than a Mk2 .
